Harvey Monroe hit with 𝕕eath news after friend goes missing in EastEnders

Harvey gets some sad 𝕕eath news

Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) is left gutted in upcoming EastEnders scenes when his new friend Maya goes missing – only to be further shocked by some devastating death news.

Recent scenes have shown Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) begging Harvey to make some new friends, after both Mitch Baker and Rocky Cotton left Walford, and Harvey, behind.

However, Harvey has been quite honest about how difficult it is to make friends as an adult – so when he hits it off with avid Tottenham Hotspurs fan Maya after taking her taxi fare in upcoming scenes, he is thrilled.

The next day, Harvey feels back at square one on the friend-making front when Martin Fowler (James Bye) bails on meeting him for a pint in order to look after Zack Hudson (James Farrar).

Fortunately, things start looking up when Maya arrives and hands him a vintage football programme, sparking a long conversation about the game.

Next week, Harvey is annoyed when he realises that he has lost Maya’s number, and enlists Tommy Moon’s (Sonny Kendall) help to track her down on social media.

Later, Maya arrives in Walford, but it isn’t the friendly reunion Harvey is hoping for.

Maya expresses her fury at him for going through her socials, and he is quick to apologise and invite her for a drink.

During their time together, Maya makes a devastating admission, revealing that her husband died a year ago, and her honesty only strengthens the bond between her and Harvey.

However, when Maya leaves and forgets her hat, Harvey attempts to message her on social media, only to find that she has deleted her account.

Has his friendship with Maya already reached its end?

With Harvey so down about losing contact with Maya, partner Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) attempts to cheer him up by taking him on a football themed ‘boys night out’.

Will it work in bringing up Harvey’s mood?
