Young and the Restless spoilers for May 6 feature Jack and Diane with the Soap Hub logo.He has some serious explaining to do!

We All Have Truths

Jack (Peter Bergman) tried to talk Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) out of drinking. He tried to cajole Nikki out of drinking. And when none of that worked, he decided to scare her straight, as it were. If Nikki was going to give into her addiction, then Jack would reignite his.

Jack called his dealer and got some pills. The kind that he was hooked on years ago. And he took them, even as Nikki cried and begged him to stop. “Ha!” Jack pronounced triumphantly, “now you see what it’s like not to be able to save someone you love from destroying themselves.” Nikki gave him the death glare. And kept drinking. So Jack kept taking pills. And then he passed out. He recovered.

But did Jack just fall off the wagon for good? And, even worse, how will he explain it to Diane (Susan Walters)? The woman who warned him that acting as Nikki’s sponsor could threaten his own sobriety. Well, maybe Jack can open by telling his wife she was absolutely right, or perhaps his whole pill-taking drama was an act to scare Nikki.

Sticks and Stones

Victor (Eric Braeden) lied to everyone that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) was dead. But, in reality, he’s got her locked up in his wine cellar. Now that Harrison (Redding Munsell) and Claire (Hayley Erin) have been found, he doesn’t need her for anything. So he’s just keeping her prisoner for the evulz.

Oh, sure, he says he’s doing it so she can’t escape again and cause any more damage. But we suspect it’s mostly the evulz. Otherwise, why would he keep going down there just to taunt her?

Blame Game

Harrison is home. Claire has been proven not to have been responsible for kidnapping him. But Summer (Allison Lanier) still blamed Claire. Which means she still blames Kyle (Michael Mealor). And she wants him to take responsibility for what happened to her stepson. Even though, when you get down to it, Jordan was out to hurt Summer’s family, not Kyle’s.
