Home & Away

Three major Home and Away characters to return for iconic couple’s dream wedding

Summer Bay’s most anticipated wedding of the year plays out next week as Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) and Justin Morgan (James Stewart) are finally wed in Home and Away.

To celebrate, the Channel 5 soap is also bringing back three former characters.

It’s been a rocky few years for the couple ever since Leah became entwined in the vicious Vita Nova cult, was kidnapped and suffered a breakdown. As a result, she considered leaving the area for pastures new last month.

However, after confessing everything to Justin, the two decided to take things slowly and keep quiet about their wedding plans.

Realising that she still had doubts, Leah checked herself in for another week at the mental health clinic.

Meanwhile, Justin has been left to plan the entire ceremony, and has quite a few surprises up his sleeve, including John Palmer (Shane Withington) as celebrant!

In upcoming scenes, she finally walks down the aisle in a stunning white gown, ready to cement their five year relationship and tie the knot.

Surrounded by family and friends, fans of the serial will notice a few familiar faces amongst the crowd.

The first of these is his sister Tori (Penny McNamee), who was last seen three years ago. The doctor left for pastures new in London with her new husband Christian.

Also returning is Justin’s daughter Ava (Annabel Wolfe), who departed last year after stalking Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) and convincing her dad that she’d been kidnapped in a bid to get more attention.

After tracking down her ‘kidnapper’ and attacking him, he faced potential jail time.

We can’t imagine that she’ll get a happy reception!

The last of the returnees is VJ Patterson (Matt Little), who fled the country for Cyprus six years ago with daughter Luc, after a lengthy custody battle.
