The cast of Baywatch: See where Pamela Anderson and her costars are now

Dive into what’s happening with David Hasselhoff, Carmen Electra, and other bronzed beach babes from "Baywatch."

Baywatch was the most-watched television series in the world for a reason.

At its peak during its 11-season run from 1989 to 1999, more than 1.1 billion people in 142 countries tuned in each week to see California’s finest swimsuit-clad lifeguards dramatically run in slow motion. What the show lacked in believability — WTF moments include a Gilligan’s Island dream sequence and a ghost girl haunting the beach — it more than made up with its ensemble cast, which consisted of models, athletes, Playboy Playmates, and even an international pop star synonymous with the fall of the Berlin Wall.

While a 2017 movie remake attempted to recapture the magic with cameos of original stars like David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, nothing compares to the series that made the biggest splash on TV. With an “action-packed” reboot underway on Fox and the imminent release of the documentary Baywatch: The American Dream — reuniting more cast members to discuss the cultural phenomenon — it’s a perfect opportunity to catch up to speed.

See what the Baywatch cast has been up to since the series ended decades ago.

David Hasselhoff (Mitch Buchannon)

David Hasselhoff — the longest-running cast member with 220 episodes under his belt — portrayed lifeguard captain Mitch Buchannon across Baywatch, spinoffs Baywatch: Hawaii and Baywatch Nights, and several made-for-TV movies. When NBC canceled the original series after just one season, Hasselhoff personally invested in its syndication, securing royalties from reruns in his contract. A decade later, Hasselhoff had reportedly earned $100 million.

“I think the favorite thing about Baywatch was the fact that it was all run by us,” Hasselhoff told PEOPLE in 2017. “The show was canceled, we brought it back, and there [were] four of us. So one of us was a writer, one of us was a director, one of us was the lifeguard, and David Hasselhoff was the PR guy, the star, keeping up the morale.”

Life after Baywatch has been just as successful as before for the Knight Rider lead turned international pop star. Hasselhoff has infiltrated every corner of entertainment: Broadway (Jekyll & HydeChicago), reality TV (America’s Got Talent judge, Dancing With the Stars contestant, A&E’s The Hasselhoffs), and music (15 studio albums, including 2021’s Party Your Hasselhoff). But it’s the role of himself that he’s played the most, making cameos everywhere from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004) and Piranha 3DD (2012) to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). He’s also set to appear in Baywatch: The American Dream.

Following his 2006 divorce from actress Pamela Bach — with whom he shares daughters Taylor-Ann and Hayley — Hasselhoff married Hayley Roberts in 2018.

Pamela Anderson (C.J. Parker)

With a few acting credits on her résumé — including stints on Charles in ChargeMarried With Children, and Days of Our Lives — Pamela Anderson joined the cast in season 3 to play the bubbly and brave C.J. Parker. When she first signed on, the Playboy Playmate earned $1,500 per episode: a salary that inflated to $300,000 by the end of her five-year run, making her one of the highest-paid actresses on TV at the time.

However, in 2023, it came to light that Anderson’s post-show earnings were surprisingly low, given her impact. “My kids are obviously very protective of me and they think ‘How could this happen?'” she said on The Howard Stern Show in 2023. “I mean, [my son] Brandon was just looking at my Baywatch residuals and, you know, he was like, ‘You make $1,000 a year on Baywatch residuals in total. How is that possible?'”

On the tail-end of her Baywatch career, Anderson capitalized on her blonde bombshell image with sexy roles, including the titular bounty hunter in Barb Wire (1996), Britt in Naked Souls (1996), and Vallery Irons on V.I.P. Her notable projects post-Baywatch include Scary Movie 3 (2003), Superhero Movie (2008), Blonde and Blonder (2008), and Alone at Night (2022). Additionally, she competed in season 8 of Dancing on Ice and seasons 10 and 15 of Dancing With the Stars, paving the way for her Broadway debut in 2022 as Roxie Hart in Chicago. Off-screen, Anderson penned the novels Star and Star Struck, and her 2023 memoir Love, Pamela. The tell-all book — which rewrote the false narrative put out by the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy — was accompanied by a Netflix documentary that received rave reviews from both critics and fans.

Following five publicized divorces, the mother of two adult sons, Brandon and Dylan — with whom she shares with Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee — has concentrated on passion projects, particularly animal activism.

Jeremy Jackson (Hobie Buchannon)

Jeremy Jackson (Hobie Buchannon)

In 1990, when Brandon Call left the show after one season, the role of Mitch’s surf-loving son Hobie was up for grabs — and though then-15-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio was considered (and rejected by David Hasselhoff), it was the SoCal-born Jeremy Jackson who got the gig. Jackson’s 159-episode arc, the second-longest after Hasselhoff, forged a bond with the lead actor and singer that inspired his own musical path. In 1993, Jackson opened for Hasselhoff on his European tour, and by the next year, he dropped his debut album, Number One.

“What I loved most about playing Hobie was getting to do what I always wanted to do and was already doing. I was a child of a single parent. I lived at the beach,” Jackson told Digital Journal in April 2023. “I looked up to the lifeguards, being on the beach as a kid, and I really liked their lifestyle…. It was like showing up for my dream life every day.”

When Baywatch ended in 1999, Jackson dove head-first into rough waters. That year, the then-19-year-old was arrested for possession of crystal meth, served 90 days in jail, and entered rehab a fifth time. He found new fame on MySpace and became a tabloid fixture for his exploits, including a sex tape and a stint on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab in 2011. Four years later, Jackson was kicked off Celebrity Big Brother for exposing a female contestant’s breast and was later arrested for two separate stabbing incidents, resulting in a 270-day jail sentence and five years’ probation.

According to his Instagram bio, Jackson is now a sober coach, certified personal trainer, meditation healer, and transformative breathwork practitioner.

Alexandra Paul (Lt. Stephanie Holden)

Before she spent 92 episodes as a lieutenant lifeguard, Alexandra Paul already had various acting credits to her name, appearing in John Carpenter’s Christine (1983), 8 Million Ways to Die (1986), Dragnet (1987), Detonator (1993), and more.

On her podcast, Switch4Good, Paul reflected on playing the “smart” character on Baywatch. “[Stephanie] was the smart one because I didn’t have implants and I didn’t have blonde hair, so they just assumed I was smart,” she joked. “But I was also very comfortable as a lifeguard. They actually first interviewed me for that part because they knew I was a good swimmer… The producer swam at the same pool as I did.”

Paul followed up her five-season stint as Stephanie Holen by playing Terry O’Brien in the last eight episodes of Melrose Place. She then made further guest appearances in episodes of She SpiesMad Men, and TV Therapy, among other projects. Additionally, the actress worked in dozens of indie flicks (2012’s 16-Love) and TV movies (2016’s Sharknado: The 4th Awakens).

Since wearing one of the iconic red swimsuits, she has competed in global swimming races and ran the 2000 Boston Marathon. Crowned the 2014 Vegan of the Year by Last Chance for Animals, Paul has also dedicated much of her life to animal rights and environmental activism. She’s co-hosted the Switch4Good podcast since 2019, which aims to take “listeners of all ages on a journey to optimal health and stamina through plant-based eating.”

Paul has been married to former actor Ian Murray since 2000.

Carmen Electra (Lani McKenzie)

Carmen Electra (Lani McKenzie)

Modeling for Playboy magazine a year prior, Carmen Electra made her breakthrough as dancing lifeguard Lani McKenzie in season 8 of Baywatch in 1997.

“My favorite memory from Baywatch would have to be seeing myself in the opening credits for the very first time,” the actress told Fox News 20 years later. “And then seeing myself! I had to pinch myself because I was a true fan before, and getting that job meant the world to me”

After 22 episodes of the beach drama series, the model went on to embrace her sex symbol status: She posed several more times for Playboy, hosted MTV’s dating show Singled Out, danced with burlesque troupe the Pussycat Dolls, launched the Naked Women’s Wrestling League, and wrote the 2007 book How to Be Sexy. In between, the actress also padded her résumé with the parody films Scary Movie (2000), Date Movie (2006), Epic Movie (2007), Meet the Spartans (2008), and Disaster Movie (2008), as well as her own MTV series documenting her marriage to guitarist Dave Navarro, ’Til Death Do Us Part (ironically, they split in 2006 after three years). Since then, Electra has popped up all over TV, from scripted shows (90210Jane the Virgin) to streaming films (2023’s Good Burger 2) to a wide variety of reality series like Dance MomsHollywood MediumHell’s Kitchen, and The Celebrity Dating Game.

It was her appearance on ESPN’s The Last Dance, about Michael Jordan’s final year with the Chicago Bulls, talking about her short-lived marriage to Dennis Rodman, that led to Electra’s most fulfilling role — being her own boss. Pornhub was flooded with 1.7 million searches for the former Baywatch star, inspiring her to create an OnlyFans account in 2022. “I’ve had a blast creating photos, getting videos, and just allowing my fans to follow me wherever I go on these journeys in my life,” she told Fox News Digital. “That’s exactly what I wanted to do.”

Yasmine Bleeth (Caroline Holden)

Yasmine Bleeth
Caroline Holden, played by Yasmine Bleeth.PEARSON ALL-AMERICAN TELEVISION/EVERETT

Making her first appearance at 10 months old in a Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo commercial, Yasmine Bleeth was no stranger to the screen when playing the role of Caroline Holden on Baywatch — holding credits for Hey Babe! (1980), Ryan’s Hope, and One Life to Live.

“I actually didn’t audition for the show,” she revealed on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 1995. “I did a guest spot and I actually did my audition in full dress — I had jeans on and [a] T-shirt. And then they called about five or six months later and offered me the part. So I never actually had to show my wears, so to speak.”

After landing at the top of “most beautiful” and “sexiest” lists thanks to Baywatch, Bleeth appeared in the 1998 film BASEketball. She then pivoted to solving crimes on the CBS police procedural Nash Bridges for two seasons opposite Don Johnson. The former soap opera actress returned to the genre in 2000 for Aaron Spelling’s Titans, billed as “Dynasty for the new millennium” but canceled by NBC after 14 episodes. Almost two decades after Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding (2003), Bleeth returned to acting in the 2021 mobster buddy comedy Whack the Don, starring real-life crime bosses Sammy Gravano and Michael Franzese.

As her career stalled in the 2000s and 2010s, Bleeth’s personal life was spinning out due to cocaine abuse that resulted in gangrene in her nose. After several arrests and rehab stints, she got clean and got married. In 2002, she wed strip club owner Paul Cerrito, whom she met in treatment.

David Charvet (Matt Brody)

David Charvet (Matt Brody)

Catching his first wave of success on Baywatch, David Charvet spent three seasons as Matt Brody before diving onto the other popular TV show of the ’90s: Melrose Place, playing Sydney’s (Laura Leighton) boyfriend Craig.

However, Chaveret’s experience on sunny Baywatch had its darker moments. ”I was crying in my trailer,” he told EW in 1995. ”I’m looking at my scripts and saying, ‘Oh my god, I gotta take off my shirt, I gotta hold in my stomach. This is not me. What the f— am I doing here?’”

When he was written off the prime-time soap in 1998, the French-born actor returned to his roots: music. Charvet signed a record deal with Universal Music Group France, with his debut single, “Should I Leave,” topping the charts at No. 3 and paving the way for several more bilingual hits. By 2004, he released three pop-rock albums, selling more than 2.5 million copies worldwide.

Charvet eventually returned to acting, albeit in a handful of low-budget flicks, including 2013’s Prisoners of the Sun. These days, he’s still close to the beach — developing high-end residences in Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Venice, and Santa Monica through Jones Builders Group, which he cofounded.

Though he dated Baywatch costar Pamela Anderson from 1992 to 1994, Charvet was only married to Brooke Burke. The couple divorced in 2018 after seven years together, and share two children: daughter Heaven and son Shaya.

Gena Lee Nolin (Neely Capshaw)

When former The Price Is Right model Geena Lee Nolin quit Baywatch in 1998, she went from part of an ensemble cast to her own starring role as the title character in the syndicated action-adventure series Sheena, based on the comic-book character. She also appeared in The Underground Comedy Movie in 1999.

Nolin described the Baywatch set as having “a family atmosphere,” noting in a 2017 Cosmopolitan interview: “Everyone helped each other. Right down to the makeup artist, to hair, to wardrobe, everyone tried to encourage each other. There wasn’t a lot of fighting, and certainly nothing that I got involved in.”

However, Nolin quit Hollywood after appearing in Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. In the years since, the former actress wrote about her journey to wellness following nearly 20 years with undiagnosed Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in her 2013 book, Beautiful Inside and Out: Conquering Thyroid Disease with a Healthy, Happy, “Thyroid Sexy” Life. In 2016, Nolin returned to her Baywatch roots, reprising the role of Neely Capshaw — now an Astro-X rocket scientist — for Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. The following year, she played herself in the comedy Killing Hasselhoff, about a man who hopes to knock off the Hoff for a $500,000 prize.

In 2004, Nolin married NHL hockey star Cale Hulse and shifted her focus on being a mom to their two children.

Nicole Eggert (Summer Quinn)

Child star Nicole Eggert was a TV fixture long before playing Summer Quinn for two seasons. This included appearances in episodes of Charles in Charge and movies like The Haunting of Morella (1990) and Blown Away (1992).

While on a break from filming Baywatch, then-18-year-old Eggert felt compelled to get breast implants — a decision she reportedly now regrets — due to the show’s exploitation of her body. “All the girls worked out and were super tiny and fit and I was like ‘Whoops.’ And the one-piece bathing suits were not flattering. I didn’t want to wear it at all,” she told PEOPLE in 2024. “It just wasn’t what I signed up for. It was a totally different show and ballgame and not where I wanted to be.”

She continued to keep busy in the decades following Baywatch, with guest appearances on Married… With Children (originally intended to be a back-door pilot for her own spinoff), Boy Meets World, and Gilmore Girls. Reality television was her next foray, popping up in episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Celebrity Fit Club, Botched (for a breast reduction), Battle of the Network Stars, and The Bachelor. Since March 2023, Eggert has hosted her podcast, Perfectly Twisted, which she describes as “a perfect blend of lightheartedness and real talk” about everything from her wild Hollywood upbringing to life as a suburban mom. She is expected to appear alongside her former costars in Baywatch: The American Dream, which she also produced.

In 2018, Eggert accused Scott Baio of sexual abuse while costarring on Charles in Charge, beginning when she was 14 (and he was in his late 20s) and occurring “probably once a week” for two years, which he denied. (Due to the statute of limitations, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to press charges.)

In January 2024, it was reported that Eggert had stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer. The actress has two daughters from previous relationships: Dilyn with an unnamed father and Keegan with actor Justin Herwick.

After getting her own centerfold in Playboy in September 1995, Donna D’Errico landed the starring role of Donna Marco on Baywatch the following year.

“When I first started, I was really nervous because everyone was a gigantic celebrity and there’s me, brand new and shy,” she told Fox News in 2021. “It was a very fun, relaxing atmosphere…. And I look back on those memories very fondly because everyone was so welcoming.”

Since leaving the Baywatch universe in 1998, D’Errico has done a little bit of everything. In addition to acting in independent films (2022’s Frank and Penelope) and action thrillers (2021’s Survive the Game), she has appeared in a handful of TV shows (including 9-1-1 and Roadies). She owned a day spa in Los Angeles and even climbed Turkey’s Mount Ararat in 2012 to search for the frozen remains of Noah’s Ark. A decade later, D’Errico followed the footsteps of her former costar, Carmen Electra, and joined OnlyFans to share personal content.

From 1996 to 2007, D’Errico was married to Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx, with whom she shares a daughter, Frankie. She welcomed a son from a previous relationship, Rhyan, in 1993.

David Chokachi (Cody Madison)

Replacing David Charvet as a main cast member in 1995, David Chokachi made his acting debut as Olympic swimmer–turned–lifeguard Cody Madison on Baywatch, staying on the series for 89 episodes.

On set, Chokachi earned a reputation as the cast’s prankster. “Pranks. You name it and I’m doing it — putting Gena [Lee Nolin]’s underwear on my head and running around,” he told EW in 1997. “Last year, I found this huge dead rat on the beach — it was 18 inches long. So I stuffed it in Yasmine’s bathing suit.”

Since leaving Baywatch in 1999, Chokachi has stayed booked and busy, mostly on the small screen (TNT’s Witchblade and the N’s Beyond the Break) and in countless made-for-TV movies, including 2008’s Murder.com with former Baywatch costar Alexandra Paul. He’s also appeared in movies such as Soul Surfer (2011) and Emerald Run (2020), as well as independent films like Last Call in the Dog House (2021) and As Long as I’m Famous (2022).

Chokachi married Susan Brubaker in 2004. Together, they have a daughter, Brit.

Jaason Simmons (Logan Fowler)

With a sole acting credit for an episode of Paradise Beach, Jaason Simmons landed his breakout role in 1994 as Logan Fowler on Baywatch.

Simmons recalls his first day on set came with some blows. “I had to drive into the headquarters. I swiped the side of the truck going in because I was driving on the opposite side of the road,” he told The Morning Show in 2022“I had to have a little scuffle with David Charvet, [and] accidentally ending up clipping his lip cause I wasn’t that good of a fighter…. That was my first day and I thought, ‘You know what? I just have to suck it up and believe I’m this character and go for it.'”

Following his 1997 departure after three seasons, the Tasmanian actor crossed the pond to appear in several London theater productions, but ultimately returned to onscreen acting — securing a gig in the cult flick Sharknado (2013), followed by the direct-to-video 3-Headed Shark Attack (2015) starring Danny Trejo.

Simmons, an animal activist who came out as gay in 2008, is still tight with the Baywatch cast. In 2021, he grabbed a vegan lunch with “my two besties” Paul and Chokachi in Los Angeles. The following year, he devoted a social media post to Hasselhoff on his birthday. “I was so lucky to get on a show that was kind, and from that experience, I still have my Authentic Besties, and they have me.”

Prior to playing lifeguard April Giminski, the former child actor Kelly Packard had already accrued credits for Living DollsThe Wonder Years, and Blossom. During her four-season stint, she also starred as Tiffani Smith on the teen sitcom California Dreams while also making guest appearances on Step by StepBoy Meets World, and USA High.

Leaving Baywatch in 1999, Packard held a few cohosting gigs on Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and GSN Live, and earned further TV credits for the series The Wild Thornberrys and Better Things.

However, Packard packed it in and moved away from Hollywood with her physician husband, Darrin Privett, and four children: Aubrey, Dallin, Halle, and Delaney. In 2014, the family appeared on ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap, switching places with Martin actress Tichina Arnold — who struggled with Packard’s strict Mormon rules: no coffee, tea, alcohol…and very limited TV time.

Erika Eleniak (Shauni McClain)

Erika Eleniak (Shauni McClain)

Before playing Shauni McClain on Baywatch for three seasons, Erika Eleniak notably appeared in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) and The Blob (1988).

“It really was just like a big family, honestly,” Eleniak said of the Baywatch cast to Fox News in 2018. “Brothers and sisters. There was this big camaraderie and we had a lot of lifeguards and paramedics [on set] that were real because one of the main creators was a real lifeguard.… And there was a real brotherhood among all the lifeguards.… The cast and crew were just really amazing.”

When the former Playboy Playmate left Baywatch in 1992, her acting career found depth on the big screen with starring roles as Jordan Tate in Under Siege (1992) and Elly May Clampett in The Beverly Hillbillies (1993). On TV, Eleniak appeared on the reality shows The Real Gilligan’s Island and Celebrity Fit Club, and popped up in episodes CSI: MiamiDesperate Housewives, and Meet the Richardsons. From 2020 to 2022, she hosted the podcast Spiritual Alchemy With Erika, which she told PageSix is “about taking all of the things I’ve learned and my really difficult challenges and teach people we are really powerful.”

After her short engagement with Baywatch costar Billy Warlock fell through and her six-month marriage with bodybuilder Philip Goglia ended in 1998, Eleniak met key grip Roch Daigle while filming Snowbound (2001) and married him in 2005. They welcomed daughter Indyanna the following year before divorcing in 2007.

After starring on the teen sitcom Out of the Blue, model Brooke Burns portrayed the bubbly and athletic Jessie on both Baywatch and spinoff Baywatch: Hawaii before going on maternity leave in 2000.

“[I was] working on Baywatch as a baby. I was only 19,” she told Fox News in 2020. “So in my mind, I was getting paid to go to the beach and really just get my hands wet for lack of a better term.”

When Burns returned to television, she held several gigs as a game show host on Dog Eat DogHole in the Wall, and The Chase — the latter earning her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2016. As an actress, Burns earned credits for the WB’s Pepper Dennis and Melrose Place reboot; the Jack Black flick Shallow Hal (2001); the TV movie The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (2008); Titanic II (2010); and even Nickelback’s 2012 music video for “Trying Not to Love You,” as a woman who falls in love with her barista (played by Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander). Since 2020, she’s been the host of GSN’s trivia game show Master Mind, replacing Sherri Shepherd.

More than a decade after divorcing actor Julian McMahon in 2001 — with whom she shares daughter Madison — Burns tied the knot with film director Gavin O’Connor in 2013. They welcomed their daughter, Declan, four years later.

Before Baywatch, Traci Bingham’s notable roles included voice-over work on Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight and brief appearances on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Married…With Children. The first Black female main cast member on Baywatch remains connected to the series, posting fan art on social media.

Reflecting on the audition process in a 2019 interview on The Web Show, she remembered the script calling for a woman with a natural appearance, with no makeup, hair tied back, and dressed in simple jeans and a T-shirt. “So I thought…’Wouldn’t that be cool if they could just find a woman of color who had not so much of a Plain Jane [look], but more of a ‘voom,’ a glam about her, a sex appeal?’ she recounted. “I went in there with big hair, eyeliner, big lips, cleavage — I had to tape my boobs to stand up — a miniskirt, and high heels.”

Since leaving the show after season 8 in 1998, Bingham has popped up all over TV — from series such as The Jamie Foxx Show and Reno 911! to reality competitions Celebrity Big Brother and The Surreal Life: Fame Games (on which she won the $100,000 grand prize in 2007). Her last official credit is 2015’s East of Hollywood, which won Best Comedy Short at the Manhattan Film Festival.

Bingham has been married twice; first to Finnian Lozada, and later to musician Robb Vallier.

Prior to his stint on Baywatch, Parker Stevenson starred on the TV series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries and appeared in seven episodes of Probe, among other guest spots. In between his appearances as lawyer-lifeguard Craig Pomeroy in season 1 and season 8 (and directing an episode in season 3) of Baywatch, Stevenson had guest appearances on Blossom and Melrose Place.

“From the autograph shows I’ve been to, or if I’m out walking on the beach, people kind of know me from two things, and that’s Hardy Boys and Baywatch,” he told EW in 2023. “And even though I’ve done a few other things over 55 years — those things didn’t shift anything.”

Stevenson has since added a handful of one-off roles to his résumé, including a starring role opposite Jane Seymour in Mistrust (2018) and playing boarding school director Louis Osmond on Netflix’s Greenhouse Academy from 2017 to 2020. He also reunited with former costar David Chokachi in Last Call in the Dog House (2021).

From 1983 to 1997, Stevenson was married to his first wife, the late actress Kirstie Alley, with whom he shares two children, William and Lillie. He remarried in 2018 to celebrity chef Lisa Schoen.

The role of a professional surfer wasn’t much of a stretch for 11-time world champion Kelly Slater — and neither was his character’s name, Jimmy Slade.

Before, during, and after his seven-episode arc over two seasons of Baywatch, Slater was ranked No. 1 in his sport. To this date, Slater holds 56 Championship Tour victories and is the oldest surfer still active in the World Surf League. “I don’t ever envision that time in my life where I’m not surfing,” he told PEOPLE. “I want to surf until my final days.” In 2023, then 51, he announced his plan to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, which will be held in Tahiti.

His post-Baywatch acting career has included appearances in the 2001 movies Extremedays and One Night at McCool’s and voiceover work in Surf’s Up (2007). Additionally, he has starred on the Apple TV+ surfing docuseries Make or Break since 2022.

Slater shares a daughter, Taylor, from a previous relationship with Tamara Mitchell. Since 2006, he has been in a long-term relationship with Kalani Miller, the cofounder of MIKOH.
