ITV Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle in terrifying Tom King moment amid new sick twist

Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle will find herself in a terrifying Tom King situation next week.

The ITV soap is tackling a coercive control storyline with the characters, and fans have seen Tom isolating and manipulating his partner. With his vile behaviour worsening recently and him having her under surveillance, it’s been revealed that the character will soon turn violent in a heartbreaking development.

While spoilers also tease “terrifying” scenes on the way at a dinner party on Tuesday’s episode, when we see a glimpse of what Belle faces at home. Only recently, Tom has also been pressurising Belle to start a family with him but the latter isn’t ready for it, as she wants to focus on her career and is also concerned it could impact her mental health.

In upcoming scenes next week, Tom continues to isolate Belle from her family and in another sick twist he opens a joint account for him and Belle in a bid to control another aspect of her life. Later in the week, Tom is left furious when he uses the puppy camera at home to spy on Belle while she talks to family members Lydia and Mandy. The three playfully tease Tom behind his back, unaware that he’s furiously listening to every word.

It’s not long until Tom suddenly arrives home unexpectedly, Belle is left anxious but she is soon relieved to find that he’s pleasant to Mandy and Lydia but worries whether he’s being genuine. However, her fears are soon confirmed, as later when they leave Belle finds herself in a terrifying situation when Tom turns on her once again.

It comes as in recent scenes Tom made Belle, who reluctantly agreed to try for a baby, throw her contraceptive pill in the bin as he said: “Well, you won’t be needing the pill anymore!” However, when Tom headed to the shop, Belle quickly fished the tablets out but is it only a matter of time until Tom finds them?
