Cancer diagnosis

Chas Dingle is diagnosed with triple negative cancer next week on the ITV soap, a year on from losing her mother to terminal breast cancer. Chas receives a call confirming her hospital appointment after finding a lump in a previous episode.

At her appointment, Chas learns she has cancer, and in the fallout she is left she’s struggling. As she hides the news from her loved ones, her ex Paddy Kirk and pal Lydia Dingle grow concerned.

Soon, Chas opens up to Lydia whilst love interest Liam Cavanagh overhears from the Woolpack corridor. Although relieved to hear her talking about what she is going through, it’s bittersweet for him as he realises that he’s no longer her sole confidant.

The next day, Chas scrolls through her phone, looking for information concerning her cancer diagnosis. But will she open up to her family?

Affair ‘rumbled’

In upcoming scenes, a naive Moira Dingle is pleased to think Tracy Metcalfe’s put her affair with Caleb Miligan behind her. However, Tracy and Caleb just can’t keep their hands off each other, continuing to betray her husband and his nephew Nate Robinson.

Meanwhile, a concerned Nate offloads his relationship worries onto Belle Dingle, worrying something might be going on with her and Caleb. Things go from bad to worse when Tracy utterly misses their romantic lunch rendezvous, leaving Nate suspicious. Bumping into Belle, Nate reiterates his concerns over Tracy and Caleb.

Later, Nate’s paranoia gets the better of him as he rifles through her phone and discovers deleted messages to and from Caleb. Determined to catch Tracy and Caleb in the act, he heads over to the house followed by a panicked Nicky and Moira. Will Nate rumble and catch the duo at it?

It’s been a tough few weeks for Aaron Dingle and his uncle Cain Dingle, with them not on speaking terms – made worse by Aaron stealing a car from Cain’s garage, nearly landing him in trouble. Next week on the ITV soap, Aaron arrives at the garage with another car he has stolen, after previously working on a stolen vehicle there.

Mack Boyd tells him it won’t end well when Cain finds out how the car was obtained and later, his theory is proven to be correct when tension clearly rises between Cain and Aaron as he learns about what he’s been doing and Mack feels trapped in the middle of the row.

When Samson expresses an interest in a car of his own, Aaron wants to sell him one but Cain assumes Samson has stolen Aaron’s car. Samson is forced to send the car back until he gets his licence and realising Aaron is playing games, Cain sells the car on.

It’s not long before Aaron steals Cain’s personal car, and there is much fear amongst the family after Cain’s reaction. Aaron is later taken in for questioning by police after he’s seen driving without licence plates, and it looks like an open and shut case.

However, things turn brutal when Aaron – having thrown further disrespect at Cain – is pinned down to the ground by Cain. Will he go as far as killing him, or will Aaron gain enough strength back to retaliate?
