ITV Emmerdale fans work out Mack’s connection to newcomer Ella in shock twist

Emmerdale fans have worked out a connection between Mackenzie Boyd and Ella Forster.

The ITV soap will see the arrival of Ella – played by Paula Lane – and fans are convinced she actually has a connection to one of the villagers. Ella gets the attention of Mandy and Paddy when she stands up for her at a veterinary ball.

She quickly gets sacked for standing up for her new friend and ends up in the Dales looking for a new job – but does she have a past she’s hiding from the villagers, and is there a connection already there?

Back in December, Mack had been staying out all the time, with Charity convinced he was out sleeping with someone else. In fact, he was struggling with all that was happening between him and Chloe, and Reuben being away, but could he have been playing away?

“We only have Mack’s word that he ended up sleeping on a park bench. Charity could well be right that he ended up sleeping with some random other woman. Maybe Elly or Ruby? #Emmerdale,” one wrote. A second added: “So, who did Mack sleep with? Ella or Ruby? #Emmerdale.” With it being suggested that Ella has a past of her own, is she connected to someone in the village – or what else could she be hiding?

What we do know is that Ella will be part of a brand new romance storyline, but who might it be? She told The Mirror and other press: “There’s already been a relationship going on there at the minute in the surgery. So I don’t know. There might be some fireworks, there’s a little bit of competition, perhaps. Little love triangle going on. But behind closed doors, who knows what can happen. So there’s a brand new set that we’re actually building, surgery is going to be on Main Street. And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery.”
