Emmerdale fans think two characters are set to have an affair in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap.
Two couples could be torn apart by a betrayal, as a possible fling was teased in the latest episode. Manpreet Sharma made it clear she had a crush on Billy Fletcher in the latest visit to the Dales.
Amid things not going well with her partner Charles Anderson after their recent proposal drama, Manpreet has turned her attention towards fitness trainer Billy. Billy had a falling out with his wife Dawn Fletcher over his new business, with him not feeling supported.
Not long after, Billy hit the gym and Manpreet came to his need when he ended up pulling a muscle. Doctor Manpreet offered to take a look and was seen staring at Billy’s body while smirking.
Billy noticed her reaction as she made it clear she liked what she saw, before quickly checking him over. Later, we saw Manpreet looking at photos of Billy on social media before pulling a face.

Manpreet realised she was crushing over Billy and appeared embarrassed, throwing her phone away to snap herself out of it. But fans think amid trouble in both of their relationships, there could be an affair on the way.
Taking to X, one viewer posted: “Its obvious that Manpreet and Billy will be having an affair soon.” Another agreed: “I guess the upside if Manpreet & Billy do have an affair is that Charles just might leave the village….fingers crossed.”
A third fan said: “Are we about to have to suffer another village affair-this time between Manpreet and Billy?” Another viewer posted: “Billy and Manpreet be at it by Friday ,you can see it coming a mile off,” while another fan said: “If Billy ends up having an affair with Manpreet to escape from what’s coming, that’ll be the final straw.”
Billy and Dawn are about to be part of a huge and difficult storyline on the show, as their baby son Evan is diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. The characters will see their lives changed in an instant as Evan is taken to hospital and diagnosed with the illness, leaving them heartbroken.
