And now Lynne McGranger, 71, has hinted at a possible departure after an impressive 31-year stint. In a candid interview with Stellar magazine this week, the actress opened up about her hopes for the future.
‘It’s something I’ve mulled over, and it has been in the back of my mind for the last year or two,’ Lynne said of leaving the show.
The actress suggested that while no official date has been set for her exit, the idea of leaving Summer Bay has been a significant consideration

Currently, Lynne is immersing herself in a new venture, The Grandparents Club, which she describes as a delightful return to her theatrical roots.
‘Certainly, no date has been set [to leave], but what I love about working on The Grandparents Club and being involved in this wonderful celebration is that it’s taking me back to my roots,’ she shared.
The actress emphasised the collaborative nature of her current project, contrasting it with more rigid theatrical works.

The veteran soap star had grazes on her nose, right cheek and chin after suffering a nasty fall.

‘Oh gosh Lynnie! Sending love – I was hoping that was onset makeup,’ wrote her co-star Sarah Roberts.
‘Damn, that looks pretty badass! Hope you’re all good though Lynne,’ added fellow Summer Bay veteran Ethan Browne.
Other prominent figures chipped in with their own well-wishes.
‘Oh, take care of yourself x,’ TV presenter Myf Warhurst chipped in, while My Kitchen Rules star Blake Proud wrote: ‘OMG. We hope you’re okay!’
Meanwhile, her son-in-law’s mother was quick to dispel any wrongdoing.
‘And I promise I didn’t trip or push her. Poor love, it wasn’t a good sight,’ she wrote.
