Home and Away‘s Remi Carter decides to call it quits with Stevie Marlow after their fling begins to get more serious.
In scenes that will air on Thursday, June 27, and Friday, June 28, Remi confides in Eden Fowler about his tension with ex-girlfriend Bree Cameron.
Remi was angry about Bree’s motorcycle rides with her new boyfriend Nelson Giles, given that motorbikes were the reason he and Bree split up.
Eden asks Remi why he cares about the situation when he is moving on with Stevie. But when her name is mentioned, Remi admits he’s struggling to deal with the “full-on” actress at the moment.
Later, Stevie summons Remi urgently to help run more lines with her that afternoon. This causes Remi to snap and tell her he’s not her boyfriend.
As their argument escalates, Remi decides he is done with the relationship, as he can’t deal with being “on call” for her anymore. An angry Stevie agrees to call it a day.
As Cash Newman points out that his delivery was a bit harsh, Remi admits he clashed with Bree earlier, and he’s not in the right headspace to care for someone else right now.
After calming down, Stevie asks for a second chance, but Remi takes Eden’s advice to focus on himself and calls it a day for good.
Will Remi regret his decision?
