Home and Away actor Matt Evans has confirmed that tragedy is looming in Summer Bay, with one character set to meet a devastating end as part of a dramatic gun plot.
The soap recently hinted at some explosive drama on the horizon. Sharing an ominous clip featuring an unknown figure wandering into Summer Bay, setting hearts pounding.
Making an appearance on Australia’s The Morning Show, Matt, who portrays Theo Poulos in Home and Away, spoke about what’s to come. He also admitted death was on the cards.
The actor revealed crucial scenes ahead. “All I can say is next week a stranger will come into the Bay and someone will die,” he ominously revealed to viewers.
The new trailer tantalised fans with a cryptic glimpse of a blurry silhouette on the beach bearing a black case, after which terrified locals scatter in terror. “I need an ambulance and police to Summer Bay,” cries out Alf Stewart, as the police scramble to nab the mysterious intruder.
Quick snippets of familiar faces rushing away from danger also flash across the screen. Mackenzie Booth, Cash Newman, Remi Carter, Dana Matheson, and Leah Patterson are among those seemingly at risk.
The suspenseful video culminates in Felicity Newman informing Tane Parata over a phone call: “There’s been a shooting, and whoever’s done it hasn’t been found yet,” following which he is seen hot on the heels of the apparent perpetrator.
Whether this harrowing narrative ties in with the ongoing stalking storyline featuring Stevie Marlow being disturbed by a fan’s obsession is yet to be seen. Viewers will have to wait and see.
