Home and Away spoilers: shock exit, Stevie’s stalker revealed and surprise new romance
A beloved character makes a shock exit and a surprise romance is on the cards for two residents. Elsewhere Stevie finds herself in danger as her creepy stalker finally confronts her
There’s plenty of drama on Home and Away next week.
Levi is in hot pursuit of a heated Eden, who can’t believe she saw her brother cheating on his wife. Levi protests that his feelings for Mackenzie are real but even as he declares his love for her, Eden can only see their dad – in her eyes, Levi’s exactly like him.
He goes to Mackenzie, but she wakes in the night to an empty bed. When she does find him, he’s despondent as he scrolls through his message history with Imogen.
Eden vents to Felicity and tells her that she can’t bring herself to break Imogen’s heart, while Mackenzie stresses to Levi that they need to find a way to contain this.
Eden later sits face-to-face with Levi as she unpicks the lies he’s told to cover his affair. But Eden’s response is cold. Levi later realises that Cash knows the truth, and Eden also wastes no time outing the affair to Remi and Kirby too.
At Salt, the dynamic continues to be fraught between Mackenzie and Felicity, who isn’t going to let the affair off lightly. When Levi gets wind of this, he storms into Eden’s and rails at his sister – tell your friends to back off.
After the confrontation, Eden surprises her friends when she tells them that he’s right. She hates her brother right now, but they need to give him the space to come clean.
At the same time, Mackenzie frets when Levi has to leave, but he needs to be there when Imogen gets home. He’s going to tell her everything, he promises. Then they can be together.
Elsewhere on Home and Away, Tane is still being held at the police station and Harper is standing by him. Next, Rose fronts up at Mali’s with an axe to grind with her boyfriend – what he did was wrong, she tells him.
He should have told her the minute he found out where Tane and the baby were hiding. Rose is incredulous and makes it clear that she’ll be powerless if Sarge decides to press charges.
As Tane, Mali and Harper return from court, Tane seems set in denial. He’s lucky to have been granted bail, they remind him. As far as he sees it though, it’s all pointless.
Rose confirms to Xander that she hasn’t heard from Mali since she seized Tane’s passport. There’s more though – she’s spoken to Sarge, and it’s her decision whether to press charges against Mali and Harper or not.
Rose is feeling the pressure of her work and personal lives colliding. Dana meanwhile confronts Mali about Rose and the charges, inadvertently spilling the beans that it’s his girlfriend who’ll be deciding his fate.
Mali and Harper continue to worry that Tane doesn’t seem interested in his legal fight ahead. While Harper and Dana are encouraging him to defend himself, Rose approaches and asks for a chat. He complies, and she asks him for the full story regarding Harper and Mali’s involvement.
He tells her the truth, that they talked him down and made him do the right thing. When Rose sees them at the surf club, she lets them know she’s decided – she won’t be pressing charges. Harper’s grateful and things seem to thaw between Rose and Mali as well.
Relieved for her sister, Dana realises she may have overstepped, and heads straight to Xander’s to apologise. Her apology is typically longwinded and teeming with contradictions, but ultimately earns her a kiss when Xander pulls her into a passionate embrace. Is this the start of something new for them?
There’s drama in store for actress Stevie and Cash too, as Cash’s phone buzzes with a notification and he sees that Stevie’s live, promising her fans a huge announcement dropping later that day. Cash is incredulous – she’s told everyone exactly where she is.
Soon he’s at Stevie’s side, where she doubles down – he’s off duty, she tells him. She doesn’t need him… At Stevie’s media event, Cash won’t back down – nobody has checked his ID, and there’s no security, making this a high threat event. She’s in danger.
Stevie clearly doesn’t agree, and soon the director is publicly announcing the cast of ‘All Our Tomorrows’. As Stevie settles into an audience Q & A, Cash can only look on as she pays tribute to her late co-star, Crystal.
As she attends to a swarm of fans chasing autographs though, Cash senses imminent danger, and a rogue fan pushes through the crowd towards her, begging her to say her famous catchphrase and then suddenly lunges at her.
Cash steps in just in time and sprints after the attacker. Soon they’re playing a game of cat and mouse in an empty carpark. In a physical altercation, Cash manages to overpower him, with the stalker screaming – “She’s the last on my list!” As he’s dragged away in handcuffs, Stevie thanks Cash for everything. She can finally feel safe.
Also happening on the soap, Kirby corners Valerie over the drug drama with her and Theo. The mood is tense between Valerie and Theo when she thanks him for taking the wrap for the seized pills. She would hand herself in, she says, but the cops would just think she was covering for him.
Justin’s not happy when he walks in on the pair kissing – he thought he made himself clear about wanting Valerie gone. Justin then grills the pair until Leah walks in and makes her reveal all.
Leah’s in shock and disbelief, but it’s too much for Valerie, and she bails. When Kirby finds her crying on the beach, she leads with compassion, and offers a kind ear. Valerie admits she has a problem, but talks about how much she cares about Leah, and how feeling like a part of her family has meant so much.
Kirby encourages honesty, and Valerie fronts up to beg forgiveness. Unfortunately for her, the response is not what she’d hoped for, and Leah is firm when she tells her she has to leave, hopefully to go back to the clinic.
She and Theo share a heartfelt goodbye as Leah and Justin watch on. Theo’s keen to stay in touch, but Valerie knows that’s not a good idea. She’s already caused enough pain. And Theo’s heart breaks as she drives away forever.
At home Leah gently broaches with Theo the idea of getting some help himself. Theo says he doesn’t need it, he’s done with taking drugs. Before she can push any further, Justin returns home with news – Valerie has handed herself in, the charges against Theo, and Lyrik, have been dropped.
Theo’s desperate to go to her, but Leah’s quick to remind him it isn’t his problem. Theo then approaches Remi who offers sage advice – he needs to do something now before he hits rock bottom. That night, he takes Theo to Bree’s, where they sit down to talk. Theo asks for help, and Bree’s ready to talk through his options.
