Remi has the chance to plead his case to Stevie, pointing out that they’ve each missed the other. As they lie in bed together later, it seems their romance is back on track. Remi points out they never finished their conversation about what they want, but she counters that they have all the time in the world to talk.
On set, Bree observes Remi and Stevie’s PDA and is pleased to see her ex-boyfriend looking happy. In bed that night, Stevie teases that maybe Remi will end up her boyfriend after all.
The next morning, Cash takes a terrifying phone call from his bosses at LLD Security – Sidney Wickham, Stevie’s stalker, is no longer being held on remand and he could be a danger to her. Cash springs into action, sprinting to the beach, where Stevie is performing her character’s emotional scene.
From the sidelines, a lone gunman has Stevie in his sights. Cash desperately cries out for her, but it’s too late as a gunshot sounds out. As the film crew panics and scatters, he runs to his friend and holds her as she struggles for breath. Has Stevie’s stalker won in the end, after all?
Meanwhile, Harper and Dana continue to be nervous about testifying at Tane’s trial. Rose warns the sisters that the DPP will be pursuing the maximum sentence. Dana pleads with Cash for advice on any way to avoid taking the stand. He confirms there’s no way to avoid it, but mentions to Harper a case where he’d seen a subpoenaed witness simply claim amnesia to avoid answering the court’s questions.
Cash apologises for not being more help, but she tells him he’s helped more than he knows. As the cogs turn for Harper, has Cash inspired a tactic to manipulate the court?
Elsewhere, Marshall drills Tane in preparation for his trial tomorrow. Tane finally finds the courage to ask about his possible sentence. Marshall warns that Tane could get 15 years but urges him to stay positive.
Later, Tane meets with Cash and tells him that he’s getting his affairs in order – he wants Felicity to have the gym if he goes away. He also wants Cash to keep her away from the hearing tomorrow, as he can’t put her through that.
