Home and Away lines up emotional new storyline for Leah Patterson

Home and Away‘s Leah Patterson confides in Bree Cameron on UK screens next week as she struggles to cope following her ordeal with Vita Nova.

Leah seeks help as she experiences terrifying nightmares, as well as paranoia over the cult’s potential next move.

Upcoming episodes on Channel 5 see a member of Vita Nova try to kill Leah’s partner Justin Morgan at the hospital.

Jordan, who’s posing as a hospital orderly, strikes against Justin after secretly taking instructions from the cult. Fortunately, Jordan’s plan backfires and culminates in his arrest.

The shocking incident pushes the police into action as they finally track down the remaining members of Vita Nova and arrest them too. Afterwards, Leah and Justin are assured that the cult is no longer a threat and they can move on with their lives.

As Justin recovers in hospital, Leah still can’t help feeling unsafe while home alone. Waking from a nightmare, Leah believes she can hear noises outside and calls the police.

Rose Delaney arrives to investigate and assures Leah that there is no threat, especially as the cult members are behind bars.

Rose catches up with Leah at the Coffee Cart the next day and suggests that it might be worth seeking professional help, but Leah abruptly dismisses her.

Later in the week, Leah speaks to Bree about her nightmares and pleads for something to help her sleep.

Bree agrees to prescribe some medication, but also puts forward the idea of therapy. Leah feels overwhelmed by the suggestion and rushes out.

Leah returns to Justin, who’s finally out of hospital, but lies about where she has been. Is she making matters worse by bottling up her feelings?
