Home and Away Bree and Remi split ‘confirmed’ as doctor spotted kissing new man
Home and Away's Bree has been fighting to save boyfriend Remi's life after he was involved in a car crash but the beloved couple appear to be heading for a breakup
Bree and Remi’s romance is set to come to an abrupt end on Home and Away.
Earlier in the week, Bree’s (Juliet Godwin) worst nightmare came true when Remi (Adam Rowland) turned up at the hospital in critical condition. After hitting Remi with their car, brothers Wes and Mickey planned to bury him, believing he was dead.
But as they went to retrieve Remi’s body, they realised he was alive. A kidnapped Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) managed to talk round Mickey and he eventually convinced his cold-hearted brother Wes to let Remi go.
Mickey dropped Remi in the middle of nowhere before calling an ambulance. Back in the bay, Bree was stunned when she realised her next patient was her boyfriend.
During Wednesday’s episode (March 6) of the Channel 5 soap, Bree was preparing to save Remi’s life on the operating table when Levi (Tristan Gorey) muscled in.
The newcomer demanded they perform a thoracotomy on Remi immediately. Bree resisted, deeming it too dangerous. She was told to stand down as Levi went ahead with the surgery.
Bree remains by Remi’s bedside, hoping he regains consciousness. But it looks like the couple could be facing their biggest challenge yet, another one appears to be just around the corner.
The doctor is set to find herself a new man in the coming months, confirming her split with Remi. Pictures from the set of Home and Away show Bree locking lips with the mystery character.
The name of Bree’s new love interest is yet to be revealed, however, he will be played by Mahesh Jadu. The Perth-born actor played Dr Dough Harris in Neighbours between 2010 and 2011, and starred as Ahmad in Netflix’s Marco Polo.
A fan of the soap snapped a photo of the pair kissing as they filmed scenes at Palm Beach, meaning viewers can expect Bree and Remi’s breakup in the coming months.
Although Mahesh’s arrival hasn’t been officially announced by the soap, he’s already followed by a number of his co-stars on social media, including Juliet, Stephanie and Felicity Newman star Jacqui Purvis.
