Hard-hitting new storyline for EastEnders teen Denzel Danes revealed
A moment of helplessness make the teen spiral.

The EastEnders teen played by Jaden Ladega gets a new storyline after a vicious attack but what kind of trouble is he set for?
While the adults of Walford are dealing with their own issues, some youngsters in Albert Square are facing problems that seem impossible to overcome.
Next week on BBC One, Denzel Danes has an altercation with bully Logan in McKlunky’s and is surrounded by him and his gang outside.
Thankfully for him, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) spots what’s happening and she decides to intervene.
But in doing so, she trips up and the gang of troublemakers films her, leaving Denzel to feel horrendous that he couldn’t protect Yolande from the attack.
In other scenes, Denzel is humiliated by the video showing him failing to protect Yolande.
When Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) teases him, Denzel lashes out, forcing Nugget’s mother Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) to break them up.
Later, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Priya bring Nugget and his sister Avani over to apologise.
To seal the peace-making, Ravi invites the boys to The Boxing Den to learn a different way to channel their emotions.
Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) then tries to reassure Denzel about his standoff with Logan, but he’s paranoid about not being buff enough.
Once at the Boxing Den, Denzel spars with Nugget but asks George Knight (Colin Salmon) if he can get in the ring with fighter Rufus.
After Denzel tries to take things too far, George gives him a pep talk about managing his emotions and building his strength – will it sink in?
At McKlunky’s, Amy is later annoyed when Denzel is so engrossed by a fitness influencer’s videos that he neglects her.
She’s further hurt when he chooses to go to the gym instead of having dinner at her place.
Could Denzel’s new passion have an impact on his day-to-day in Walford?
How will Amy, who has experienced several issues with her mental health, react?
