First look as pregnant Whitney Dean goes into labour trapped in a van in EastEnders – a year after devastating baby loss

WHITNEY Dean is set to be left terrified as she goes into labour whilst trapped in the back of a van.
The expectant mother will be left fearing for both herself and her unborn child as it seems as though she may be forced to deliver the child in the food truck.
In exclusive pictures shared with The Sun, Whitney, dressed in her Sten do get-up, can be seen doubling over as her contractions begin to take hold.
Trapped with just Lauren Branning for support, Lauren can be seen banging on the taco truck’s door from the inside in a bid to call for help.
Whitney can be seen clutching her baby bump in the images amid the scary ordeal.
The duo will find themselves locked inside after Penny Branning forces them together in order for Lauren to make her big confession.
Viewers of the soap opera know how Lauren secretly bedded Whitney’s partner and baby daddy Zack Hudson in a steamy romp just days before the nuptials are set to take place.
Whilst it has been kept a closely guarded secret, the betrayal and guilt begins to eat away at Lauren.
As Lauren decides to come clean, she is stopped in her tracks as a pregnant Whitney reveals her waters have broken.
With it now being clear that Whitney is due to give birth, the pair bemoan as they face up to the fact they are locked in the taco van.
As their phones lose power and their cries for help go ignored, will Whitney be forced to give birth in the back of a van.
Elsewhere, our first-look pictures show that as the chaos for Whitney in the food van unfolds, Zack is having the time of his life with their fellow Walford residents on the huge pre-wedding party.
The characters can be seen in their over-the-top fancy dress attire as Zack can be seen being dashed away in a vehicle after the celebrations.
Whitney’s impending birth comes just a year after she and Zack were left devastated at the loss of their child, Peach.
The harrowing scenes where Whitney said her final goodbye to Peach left those watching along at home in floods of tears.
She was devastated by the loss – and even more so when it became clear her daughter didn’t count as a baby because she died under 20 weeks along into the pregnancy.
Zack Hudson had been struggling with the loss too – and desperately tried to help Whitney but she has been consumed with grief.
