Fears for Chelsea Fox in EastEnders as she’s left alone with 𝕤ex abuser Pastor Clayton

Will Yolande open up about her 𝕤exual assault?

Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) is to fear for family friend Chelsea Fox’s (Zaraah Abrahams) safety in upcoming EastEnders scenes as she is left alone with sex offender Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler).

Viewers of the BBC One soap opera watched in horror last week as Yolande confessed to friend Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) that she had been sexually assaulted by the leader of her prayer group.

The creepy Pastor had been making inappropriate advances towards her for some time.

In a series of flashbacks, we saw that he had abused several women over the course of the last 23 years.

Will Yolande open up about her sexual assault?

This week, Yolande will struggle to share a loving moment with partner Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker), who is still unaware of her ordeal.

She’ll also suffer a crisis of faith and find it difficult to attend the church meetings at the community centre.

In upcoming scenes, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) gives her food for thought over a conversation about her Christianity and heads to No. 20 to tell her family that she wants to arrange Chelsea’s son Jordan’s baptism.

Furious at her meddling, she asks Yolande to take a step back from her and Jordan’s lives and but later feels guilty and is persuaded by Patrick and her mum Denise (Diane Parish) to make amends.

Bumping into Pastor Clayton, he is delighted to take the lead on the baptism and invites her to the community centre to discuss the event.

When Yolande arrives at No. 1 for a similar conversation, she’s terrified to hear that Chelsea is alone with Clayton.

Rushing over, she orders her to leave and fellow churchgoer Levi (Mark Akintimehin) questions her actions.

After seeing her mum’s mental health spiral, Chelsea encourages Denise and Patrick to look after Yolande and book her an appointment at the GP practice – but their concerns are only sparked further when her actions cause a fire.

When Patrick arrives home, he hears the smoke alarm sounding and Yolande is sat praying, ignoring the fact the hob is ablaze.

Will she be okay?
