Fears for Belle Dingle as Tom King rushes her into a wedding in Emmerdale
Viewers are convinced Tom has sinister motives.
TOM King has made it clear he is ready for commitment with Belle Dingle after she popped the question.
But in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, she becomes concerned as her beau seems to be rushing their wedding preparations.
After dismissing his proposal due to the chaos caused by Craig Reed’s death, Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) decided to plan out her own grand gesture to ask for Tom King’s hand.
The hunk played by James Chase accepted her proposal and was keen to announce it on social media without consulting Belle in the first place.
While she was stunned by his eagerness, Belle didn’t think twice but things could be about to change.
Coming up on ITV, Tom’s keen nature takes over as he immediately begins to prepare the wedding ceremony without, once again, Belle’s input.
Next week, Belle is surprised to hear that Tom has already booked a wedding date, but will she spot the red flag ahead of time and call it off?
Just as Belle and Tom get ready to walk down the aisle, viewers of the Yorkshire-based program have been desperate for her to pay more attention to her other half’s troubling behaviour.
As mentioned above, Belle initially declined Tom’s proposal as she didn’t want to take away from the turmoil caused by Craig’s murder on Lydia Dingle.
But when she refused to go through with a wedding, Tom lashed out and physically harmed Belle.
Tom pushed her away from him, which led her to hit her head on a table and she was left bleeding.
This paired with the strange off-screen death of Colleen King, Tom’s mother, was enough to let soap watchers believe there was more to the returnee than meets the eye.
According to many viewers, Belle could be set for a harrowing domestic abuse storyline as Tom’s strange behaviour continues.
“Looks like Tom is gonna be more abusive towards Belle in future”, one of them penned on social media.
Another chimed in: “A domestic abuse storyline for Tom and Belle?”
“Had a horrible feeling that was where the storyline with Tom was heading. Poor Belle”, a third added.
“I see a domestic abuse storyline coming up here with Belle and Tom”, another watcher penned.
Tom rushing Belle into a wedding could be a bad sign by itself but after leaning his mother had died in Saudi Arabia, many viewers grew increasingly convinced he could have had something to with her demise.
Some went as far as to say he may have killed Colleen himself.
But is there any truth to all the speculation?
