Failed 𝕜iller Denise Fox seeks out serial 𝕜iller Lucas Johnson in shocking EastEnders reunion

EastEnders left viewers stunned in recent scenes with the unexpected return of serial killer Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet), with many fans claiming they were ‘gasping’ at the screen.

Now, the BBC One soap has released new pictures detailing the moment Lucas sits down to talk to ex-wife Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

Denise has been struggling in the wake of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) Christmas Day murder, to the point that she has begun hallucinating and suffering horrific nightmares.

Her paranoia stems back to a horrifying moment that saw her fall on top of Keanu’s body, losing her iconic necklace in the process.

With the necklace now buried deep beneath the café with Keanu, there is plenty of evidence to pin the crime on Denise.

Not only that, but Denise is dealing with the fact that she almost killed Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) by hitting him over the head with a bottle in an attempt to save Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).

The terror of being found out and the guilt of what happened has been weighing heavy on Denise and has been detrimental to her mental health.

In recent scenes, Denise sought solace from the community church group but soon admitted that it wasn’t helping anymore.

Pastor Clayton was quick to offer his guidance, suggesting that she open up to someone who has been in her position to try and find some comfort and advice.

This led Denise to visit Lucas in prison, in the hope that he would be able to provide some guidance in her hour of need.

Lucas is no stranger to committing murder, having previously killed Trina Johnson, Owen Turner and Gemma Charleston, as well as attempting to kill Denise herself.

As the pair sit down and talk in these new photos, will she reveal the events of Christmas Day to Lucas? And will Lucas tell her what she wants to hear?
