Emmerdale’s Ruby Fox-Miligan ignites fiery and unexpected feud – and this time it’s not with a Dingle

Ruby is not to be crossed, which is something one Emmerdale villager is going to find out the hard way!

Despite promising to change her ways, Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) will set her sights on causing more chaos as she kickstarts a feud with another Emmerdale villager, who – surprisingly –isn’t a Dingle.

The ITV soap’s resident schemer was livid when she discovered that Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) had turned an ill Caleb Milligan (William Ash) away from the GP surgery, despite him being in serious pain.

The village GP made it quite clear that the surgery operates on an appointment only basis and, given that she was seeing a patient at the time of Caleb’s arrival, she was unable to tend to him.

Caleb agreed to go straight to hospital, as per the doctor’s instruction, but he doubled over in pain while sitting on the village bench, with sworn enemy Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) left with little choice but to get him the medical attention he needed.

It turned out that Caleb was suffering from appendicitis but thankfully the doctors caught it on time.

Caleb was relieved to learn that he was going to be okay, with his attention soon elsewhere when estranged brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) showed up to check if he was okay.

Ruby, meanwhile, was raging when she learned that Manpreet had failed to act in her hubby’s best interests and, despite Caleb’s pleas to leave the situation alone, the cogs were evidently whirring in the troublemaker’s mind.

Over at The Woolpack, Manpreet was left with a situation of her own to deal with, after Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) popped the question to her in a pub full of people.

The GP didn’t say anything but Charles believed her answer to be a yes, with Manpreet forced to tell him later that she felt under pressure during the proposal and would prefer if they remained as they are without complicating their relationship with a wedding.

Charles didn’t take the rejection too well, storming off, leaving Manpreet feeling guilty, but her attention will soon be elsewhere when vengeful Ruby confronts her once again, with pictures for next week confirming a heated showdown for the two women.
