Emmerdale’s Caleb Miligan gets shock ultimatum from son Nicky over devastating secret
NICKY is every bit as cunning as his dad
EMMERDALE’S Nicky Miligan has finally grown a backbone and issued an ultimatum to cheating dad Caleb.
Nicky – who is played by actor Lewis Cope in the ITV soap – has grown sick and tired of covering for his dad’s various lies after discovering his affair with Tracy Robinson.
In tonight’s episode Nicky’s mum Ruby finally worked out the truth – after discovering Nate didn’t cheat on Tracy.
But as Ruby correctly worked out the truth about Caleb and Tracy’s affair – Nicky decided to lie to her to keep his dad’s secret.
As Ruby demanded the truth about what Caleb and Nicky had been conspiring about, nicky shocked her by replying: “You.
“Dad thinks you’re here to cause trouble and he wants to kick you out. He didn’t like the stunt you pulled at lunch the other day.”
He added: “I love you being a part of my life but do you really think I’m capable of keeping a secret like this away from Nate? Hurting him?”
Ruby appeared to fall for Nicky’s lies and hugged him.
Later Ruby made an effort and invited her husband and son out for dinner, but both declined with Nicky having real plans with boyfriend Suni and Caleb having fake plans with some paper.
Back at the cottage Nicky was furious with his dad and ignored him as much as he could.
Caleb told him: “Come on, don’t tell me you’re still sulking for telling your mum that little fib?”
“It wasn’t a little fib,” Nicky hit back.
“I made her feel bad for doubting us, now she thinks she’s the problem. Is this all a joke to you?
“Do you know what will happen if Nate finds out about you and his wife? You’ve put this family through enough, I think this will be the last straw.”
“It’s a good job you’re not going to say anything then, isn’t it?” replied Caleb.
But Nicky had a shock for him, issuing an ultimatum, saying: “I wouldn’t be so sure. I am sick of constantly lying for you.
“Call me mam, tell her you’ve changed your mind about dinner tonight. Keep her happy, make the effort, or I’ll tell her everything.”
