Emmerdale’s Cain faces the wrath of scorned family member – and it’s not Caleb
Father and son have clashed!
A new feud has hit Emmerdale village as Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is set to try and win his son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) back.
The duo’s connection has never been plane sailing since Nate arrived in the ITV soap in 2019 and discovered Cain was his estranged father.
Despite an affair with his wife Moira (Natalie J. Robb), the two seemed to make amends – that was until Caleb Miligan (William Ash) made his presence known.
Caleb has managed to drive a further wedge into the family dynamic, having a steamy fling with Nate’s wife Tracy (Amy Walsh) and then ostracising himself whilst trying to cope with the fallout of his marriage breakup.
Father and son have clashed!
Despite the animosity, earlier this week he found himself between a rock and a hard place when a nasty incident occurred outside of the village hall.
Doubled over in pain and having been refused a doctor’s appointment at the surgery, Caleb lay down on the grass and was found by Nate who got him to hospital – but that wasn’t going to be the end of their hatred towards one another.
In tonight’s (11th April) episode, Cain was ordering breakfast in the Main Street Café when his son walked in and he offered to buy him a coffee.
The conversation was going relatively well, until it was revealed that Caleb was visited in hospital by Cain and the brothers’ fractured relationship was back on track.
Furious that his dad had betrayed him, Nate cancelled the coffee and stormed out.
Later in the instalment, after being released from hospital, Caleb had a visitor at The Mill as his brother called round to check in on him.
The two shared a heartfelt conversation, even apologising for their actions in recent months.
However, Caleb urged Cain to make amends with Nate before it was too late.
Relaying that if he ever found himself in the same situation with Nicky (Lewis Cope), he would prioritise his son over his brother.
Taking his advice on board, Cain headed out – but will they ever be the same again?
