Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle makes final decision about future in the village after bombshell news
His mum's cancer diagnosis has changed everything for him
AARON Dingle has finally made a decision to stay in the village in Emmerdale.
The criminal mechanic – who is played by actor Danny Miller in the ITV soap – has been at logger heards with his family since they dragged him back from Italy.
He had spiralled out of control over there after his sister Liv’s death.
Aaron had made enemies of some dangerous gangsters, forcing Cain to intervene and bring him back to Yorkshire against his will.
Still furious that his mum Chas had destroyed her marriage to Paddy Kirk, Aaron had repeatedly lashed out and insisted he wanted nothing to do with her.
But her revelation that she has breast cancer last night caused Aaron to spiral even more.
He decided to flee the country again by leaving the village but Charity and Mackenzie stepped in to stop him.
As Aaron decided to walk instead, Mackenzie followed him and tried to talk sense into him.
Opening up about his own struggles after being forced to walk away from his son Reuben or lose Charity to prison for life, Mack was seriously emotional.
It seem to break through to Aaron and he finally opened up about the trauma of saying goodbye to his sister Liv.
He even opened up about the death of his boyfriend Ben, losing husband Robert to prison, his grandmother to cancer and first love Jackson.
“The more people you love, the more you lose, if you’ve got no-one then they can’t hurt you,” he said.
He then decided to get into a cab and it looked like he was gone forever.
But as Chas tidied up the pub before heading to bed, she was shocked to find Aaron stood in the bar.
“Mum,” he said sobbing.
Chas began sobbing as she told him: “I love you.”
