Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) was once again questioning her feelings for Caleb Milligan (William Ash) in Emmerdale as she returned home to see him looking after her daughter Frankie.
Yesterday, an incident with Nate (Jurell Carter) finding Caleb’s wallet at their home saw Tracy wonder if she wanted to continue her affair.
Caleb managed to cover so Nate wouldn’t get suspicious, but it made Tracy think about her life with her husband and the risks she takes whenever her head turns in Caleb’s direction.
During a chat at Mill Cottage, Tracy said that she likes her life with Nate and Frankie, and isn’t sure why she’s carrying on with the betrayal.
Tracy tried to take control
Caleb put forward the point that Tracy likes how he makes her feel but she got defensive.
The conversation ended with Tracy in tears and overwhelmed with guilt. Caleb said that she should think about what she wants and if that involves him, then he’ll be waiting.
The trouble continued for Tracy in Friday’s (January 12) episode of the ITV soap as she returned home to see Caleb looking after a poorly Frankie.
Earlier on in the episode, Nate asked his uncle to look after his daughter because he couldn’t find alternative care.
Caleb got on well with Frankie so when Tracy got back and saw them interacting, it scared her. When they were alone at Caleb’s house, he told Tracy that him spending the day with Frankie only bothered her so much because she liked what she saw.
Caleb continued to encourage Tracy to confront how she feels about him but she was apprehensive, knowing if they fell for each other and the truth got out, it wouldn’t be long until they felt the Dingles violent wrath.
Tracy attempted to put distance between her and Caleb again by saying there’s a spark between them but if they did anything about it, it would soon fizzle out once the thrill disappears.
Trying to take control didn’t last long, however, as Tracy failed to resist the urge and ended up kissing Caleb.
The longer the affair goes on, the more complicated the situation becomes.
Will Tracy stop seeing Caleb?
Or will he be the one to make a decision when his wife Ruby (Beth Cordingly) arrives?
