Emmerdale spoilers: Three major characters face cancer fears after bombshell news
The trio are told some vital information
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) devastated her family when she revealed to them that she has breast cancer in Emmerdale. But the bad news doesn’t stop there as a further cancer bombshell is set to reach the ears of the locals.
Thank goodness Belle’s (Eden Taylor Draper) beautiful wedding temporarily lifted spirits for the Dingles (well, not hers, but then she is now cursed with the name King), who got stuck into the frivolities as only a Dingle can. Even the revelation of Tracy cheating with Caleb didn’t totally spoil their day.
But the high will be short lived when Chas learns something new about her cancer which will have a devastating effect on the whole clan. She discovers the cause of her cancer is the faulty BRCA2 gene, which means it’s in the family.
As that sinks in, the Dingles realise the gravity of this discovery – Cain (Jeff Hordley), Caleb (Will Ash), and Aaron (Danny Miller) not only have a high chance of having the gene, but they could also have passed it on to their kids.

Chas urges Aaron to get checked but being as predictable as the sun rising and setting, Aaron refuses.
Bat-ears Ruby (Beth Cordingly) overhears whispers amongst the Dingles in the pub and is compelled by FOMO to demand that Caleb tell her what’s going on.
He’s not forthcoming, so Ruby pokes at Caleb to the point that a huge row erupts and Cain decides to be the good big brother and intervene.
Unfortunately for him, Ruby does not take kindly to this.
As things escalate, Cain is left a sorry state – not by the news of the cancer, but by Ruby’s well-placed knee to Cain’s groin.
Cain’s crushed manhood aside, is the family set to be ripped apart by further cancer bombshells?
