Emmerdale spoilers: Ruby and Caleb Milligan hatch evil plot to destroy Tracy Robinson

Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly)’s arrival in Emmerdale changed everything in the village.

It instantly became clear that Caleb (William Ash) was not as ‘separated’ from his wife as everyone had been led to believe, as Ruby quickly installed herself at Mill Cottage and it seemed she and Caleb couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

This was bad news for Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh), who prior to that had been trying and failing to keep her hands off Caleb herself. In fact Tracy had begun to fall in love with Caleb, she told him.

When Ruby realised that Caleb had been the cause of Nate (Jurell Carter) and Tracy splitting up she chose the high-profile occasion of Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King (James Chase)’s wedding to announce the fact to the wedding guests – which comprised nearly all of the Dingles.

Ruby has the perfect idea

In the process she fractured Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb’s relationship, as Cain couldn’t believe his brother would have an affair with his own nephew’s wife, and Nate was left feeling broken.

As for Tracy, she was humiliated by the way the affair was exposed, and struggled after Nate threatened to take their daughter Frankie away from her.

That should have been enough revenge for Ruby, but in upcoming episodes she’s still not satisfied. She confronts Caleb over his affair with Tracy.

It’s the emotional aspect she can’t get over, as Caleb had affairs before but she knew that Tracy was the first one he’d had real feelings for – and therefore the only one who threatened Ruby’s position.

She demands that Caleb puts his words into action by turning Tracy against him.

With her marriage now over, Tracy is putting all of her energy into the plans for her nursery business. She’s about to make a presentation of the business, and Ruby has a cruel idea.

She suggests that Caleb should ruin Tracy’s presentation to prove once and for all that his heart is with her and not with Tracy.
