Emmerdale spoilers: Pollard struggles, Amy attacked and Matty causes trouble

Emmerdale's Eric Pollard struggles with his health and is in need of support from a close friend but is surprised when he's dismissed. Meanwhile Matty causes havoc for Amy

It’s all kicking off in Emmerdale next week, as emotions seem to be running at an all-time high.

Emmerdale spoilers can reveal that Pollard will begin to struggle as he comes to terms with his diagnosis. But when he receives good advice from Manpreet to talk to a close friend, he’s startled by his pal’s reaction.

Elsewhere, Matty unknowingly causes a whole lot of trouble when he reveals to Mack that he’s going to visit Chloe and Rueben. Feeling like he’s a step closer to the truth, Mack plans to follow Matty and Amy the next day.

Mack along with estranged with Charity follows Matty and Amy to hopefully see Chloe. However, things turn tense and Amy is soon in danger.

1. Pollard struggles

Pollard struggles emotionally as he is unable to face the Parkinson’s Support Group meeting

2. Tremors

But later on, Pollard’s worries soon begin to affect his health as he’s taken by surprise when he experiences an unexpected tremor

3. Manpreet gives Pollard advice

Understanding that Pollard is worried about his health, Manpreet advises him to speak to his friend Rodney about his woes

4. Rodney surprises Pollard

Taking Manpreet’s advice, Pollard decides to talk to Rodney but he’s left perplexed by Rodney’s off-hand reaction to his shattering diagnosis

5. Matty opens up

Matty hides the truth about Chloe and Reuben from Mack which only results in more tension

6. Moira’s Christmas

Moira wants to have a big Christmas dinner and tells Matty to convince Amy to join. But Mack struggles with the idea of sitting around a Christmas dinner table with Amy while he’s still upset about Reuben

7. Matty come cleans

Later on, Matty and Amy have a heated argument which leads Matty to come clean to Mack letting him know that they are planning to see Rueben the following day

8. Mack takes it all in

After hearing Matty’s confession, Mack darkly processes this new information. Mack later rushes round to see Charity, fired-up with hope and a plan to get his son back

9. Mack takes drastic action

The next day, Mack and Charity covertly follow Amy’s car as it leaves the village. But when they stop at traffic lights, Matty’s horrified and Amy’s furious to spot Mack and Charity following them. As they get out of the car Mack takes drastic measures and snatches Amy’s phone

10. Chloe clocks on

Mack texts Chloe from Amy’s phone but she works out that it’s him and tells him he won’t ever see his son again. Later Matty and Mack feud and thing turn physical

11. Amy’s angry

Angry Amy blames Matty for their ruined plans. Matty then heads off in defeat, believing their relationship is over. Later up at the HOP, Amy’s startled when a hooded figure grabs her unexpectedl
