Emmerdale spoilers: Chloe Harris tries to save Mack Boyd – but things take a devastating turn

Chloe had a change of heart

Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has been left fearing for his life after Chloe Harris’ (Jessie Elland) dad Damon (Robert Beck) kidnapped him in Emmerdale last week.

However, it seemed tonight (December 22) that his ordeal was about to come to an end, as Chloe had a change of heart over her revenge.

The plan was to try and get Mack to sign over his rights to Reuben, leaving him with no way of getting access to his son.

While Chloe tried to convince him to sign, she heard Damon taking a phone call, and used this as her opportunity to free him.

Pulling out a knife, she cut the ropes around his wrists and gave him strict instructions on how to get out of the abandoned factory, warning him that whether he had signed or not, Damon’s plan had always been to kill him.

When Damon came back into the room, the pair pretended that nothing had happened, with Chloe slapping Mack around the face for good measure.

As she left with Damon, it was down to Mack to see out the rest of his escape alone.

Meanwhile, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was frantic as she tried to get in contact with him, before ultimately deciding to report him to police as a missing person.

However, she soon received bad news when they revealed that there wasn’t anything they could do.

Things were about to get even worse for Mack, when Damon got a call from one of his heavies and made a beeline back to the factory.

As he examined the ropes, he realised that they had been cut, meaning that someone must have helped Mack escape…

Unfortunately, he didn’t get very far, as we soon saw him surrounded by Damon’s heavies, with Damon giving them the nod to close in.

Will Mack make it out alive?
