Emmerdale spoilers: Bob Hope demands teenager Angelica King has her life destroyed for đilling Heath
It was the day of Angelicaâs hearing
Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) has made an enemy of Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) in Emmerdale as she struggles to face the reality of daugther Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) going to prison.
In Thursdayâs (February 1) episode of the ITV soap, the King family headed to court after Angelica confessed to causing Heathâs (Sebastian Dowling) death as a result of dangerous driving.
Despite the fact Ethan (Emile John) told Nicola yesterday that the Judge will give Angelica a custodial sentence, she was still clinging onto the hope something would crop up to save her daughter from time behind bars.
Tonight, with hours to go until the hearing, Nicola debated using Cathyâs (Gabrielle Dowling) PMDD to her advantage, believing they could spin a story about Angelica being pressured into driving the car.

And when Nicola and Jimmy (Nick Miles) learnt Cathyâs charges had been dropped, Nicola wondered if that was a sign the entire case would fall apart, meaning Angelica wouldnât face any consequences either.
Sadly, that wasnât the case. Angelica pleaded guilty to death by dangerous driving so regardless of the situation or the type of person she is, she has to face what comes next.
Returning home after court, Nicola and Jimmy sat Angelica down and explained the next part of the case will involve the Judge delivering the sentence.
At first, Angelica believed she would be asked to attend community service, but her parents said there is no other option but to send her to a youth detention centre.
As a horrified Angelica rushed upstairs, Nicola headed outside to get some air.
During her walk, she found Bob outside the pub.
With nothing to lose, Nicola asked Bob if he could bring himself to speak to the authorities next week. Essentially, Nicola wanted Bobâs help with ensuring Angelica didnât face a severe outcome for taking Heath from him.
Understandably, Bob was disgusted at the request. He told Nicola that sorry doesnât matter anymore, what matters is âconsequencesâ, and hopes the Judge will make Angelica âreally sufferâ.
Bob told Nicola that he wants her daughter to be locked away for âas many yearsâ as possible, but made it clear that no matter the punishment, nothing will ever be enough for what the Kings have put the Hopes through.
A broken Nicola then fell to the floor in tears â her daughter is going to prison, and thereâs nothing she can do to stop it.
