Emmerdale spoiler video: Victoria stunned as Jacob makes a big decision about their future

Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) have decided to bite the bullet and tell their friends and family about their relationship in Emmerdale.

Vic and Jacob established they had feelings for each other shortly after she accidentally put him in hospital.

The two characters knew a relationship would be a huge risk largely because of David (Matthew Wolfenden), Vic’s ex.

Despite trying to put distance between them, Victoria and Jacob continued to enjoy each other’s company, all while David was growing convinced he was going to get back with Vic.

David discovered his son’s relationship with his ex a few days before he left the village. He was a broken man after seeing Jacob and Victoria kiss and repeatedly lashed out at them, even going as far as accusing Vic of being like Maya Stepney, the person who groomed Jacob when he was 15.

Too devastated over the massive betrayal, David decided to leave the Dales for London, where Priya (Fiona Wade) and their daughter Amba currently live.

With David gone and Jacob and Victoria clearly wanting to explore their relationship more, they recently realise things might be easier if they were more honest with other people.

In this new clip, which comes from Monday’s (December 11) episode of the ITV soap, Vic pops by the cafe to see Jacob.

He confirms to his nervous girlfriend that the plan to tell Brenda (Lesley Dunlop), Eric (Chris Chittell) and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) is still going ahead, but how will they react?

After Vic’s mistake that saw Jacob end up in hospital, Leyla was very vocal in her opinion towards the chef, so what will she say when she discovers her son is in a relationship with someone who very nearly killed him?
