Emmerdale favourite implicated in a đť•„urder as fingers are pointed
Ruby was full of guilt
It was a dark day for the Andersons in Wednesday’s (May 29) Emmerdale – and one member of the Miligan family.
Yesterday, Ethan Anderson (Emile John) died suddenly after collapsing. The shocking moment came just days after Ethan was the victim of a hit and run, which we know was orchestrated by Ruby (Beth Cordingly).
Ruby got behind the wheel of Caleb’s (William Ash) car after learning Ethan was the reason Nicky (Lewis Cope) ended up in hospital and in a coma for days.
After the hit and run, Ruby seemed fairly pleased with her revenge – but she absolutely didn’t expect Ethan to drop dead shortly afterwards.
Ruby was full of guilt
In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Claudette (Flo Wilson), Charles (Kevin Mathurin) and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) attempted to get through the first day without Ethan.
Claudette and Manpreet were feeling touched by the amount of support from fellow villagers, but Charles’ main emotion was anger, certain the person responsible for the hit and run also killed his son.
Meanwhile, in Mill Cottage, Ruby was struggling to deal with her increasing guilt and decide to tell Nicky she hit Ethan.
Ruby and Caleb sat Nicky down and begged him to keep quiet. He didn’t say yes but also – he didn’t say no.
As Nicky left, Ruby and Caleb commented on the fact they’ve both done terrible things in their lives, but Nicky turning out to be a good man might be their only positive.
Outside the church, as Claudette and Charles dealt with more overwhelming emotion, we spotted Nicky.
With the family dealing with so much trauma, will Nicky confess his mum’s secret to the Andersons?
Could Nicky put Ruby behind bars?
