EMMERDALE fans have been left livid after a ‘desperate’ couple rekindled their affair – fuming ‘they’re as bad as each other!’
The residents of the fictional village find it hard to stay monogamous, with various characters embarking on risky affairs on a regular basis.
The latest pair to get it on in secret are Tracy Robinson and Caleb Milligan, with Tracy first cheating on husband Nate in November.
She called it off over the Christmas period, but Caleb can’t keep away from her.
Despite Tracy giving him his investment money back and bidding to set up her woodland nursery business alone, Caleb still kept interfering.
Tonight, Tracy celebrated a successful chat with Gabby but was gutted to learn Nate had to drive a client to Cornwall and would be away for the night.
Later, Caleb arrived at her house knowing she’d be in alone and admitted that he had been “hurt” when she cooled things between them.
He said: “So yeah, I sent Nate away because I couldn’t stand to see him celebrate with you, because he’s the one making you happy.”
But Tracy stood firm, saying: “What we had was great, but it was wrong. I love my family.”
Caleb said: “I guess it’s not meant to be then, maybe you can’t have it all.”
She replied: “I dunno, I think today’s proven that I can, my family, the investment, a proper future.”
Caleb touched her face but she stopped him, saying: “We had something special, but it’s over. Please, just leave it there.”
She then stood aside for him to leave, and in a scene moments later, she was seen coming down the stairs in her dressing gown as Nate suddenly appeared at the house, looking for his phone.
Giving him a kiss before he headed off again, Caleb then came down the stairs and said: “That was too close.”
She replied: “I guess we need to be more careful.”
Caleb asked if she was sure she wanted to do this, considering what she’d said earlier and she replied: “I said I can have it all, and that includes you.”
As the pair kissed, Emmerdale fans took to X – formerly Twitter – to discuss the fact the affair – which they already hate – is back on.
One wrote: “Caleb and Tracy are suited together though, they are as tedious, boring and desperate as each other.”
Another added: “Tracy is definitely worst than Nate..”
A third tweeted: “Tracy couldn’t wait 5 secs for Nate to be out the door!”
