Emmerdale fans left ‘shouting at the screen’ as Tracy breaks down in tears and U-turns on Caleb affair

EMMERDALE fans have been left ‘shouting at the screen’ after Tracy broke down in tears and U-turned on her affair with Caleb.
During Wednesday’s episode, Tracy rekindled her affair with Caleb, telling him she could “have it all”.
But in tonight’s episode, the pair were almost caught out by Tracy’s husband Nate after he found Caleb’s wallet on the floor of their living room.
He questioned Caleb about why it was there, before returning to Tracy and telling her he wished she had told him herself.
Tracy assumed he knew she had been cheating, but it turned out Caleb had covered for them and told Nate about Tracy giving him his investment money back.
Later, Tracy headed to see Caleb at his place, and ended up breaking down over their close call.
She said: “I keep coming here, coming to you…if Nate finds out, he’ll be gone. We’ll have to share Frankie, I’ll have ruined her life, I’ll have ruined his…made a mess of my own and for what?
“My life is great and I’m risking losing it every single day.”
Caleb pointed out she said “great life” not “great marriage” and she protested it was a great marriage but Caleb continued to question it, before saying she maybe wanted more.
“And you’re that more are you?” she asked, and he replied: “I’d like to be.”
Tracy continued: “Yeah maybe I have got feelings for you, but that’s how these things go isn’t it? I mean if no one had feelings no one would have affairs. Makes me feel sick to even say it.”
Caleb said while it was a cliche, “the heart wants what the heart wants,” and she replied: “I want to stop hurting my family.”
As she cried, Caleb tried to console her but she replied: “I need to go! I need to go and never come back…this needs to stop!”
She got hysterical she continued: “I need to stop, you need to stop, please! please! stop!”
Caleb said he hoped she knew how he felt about her, but said: “I’m not going to try and talk you into doing something you don’t want to do Trace, but if you decide it is what you want, you know where I am.”
As Tracy left in tears, Emmerdale viewers took to X – formerly Twitter – to rage about the latest twist in the affair storyline.
One wrote: “Tracy back round Caleb’s again, to tell him its over Again.”
Another tweeted: “Why can’t Tracy make her mind up?”
A third added: “Sick to death of Tracy”
