Emmerdale fans horrified as Rhona Goskirk breaks into baby Ivy’s hospital room

EMMERDALE fans are horrified after Rhona Goskirk broke into baby Ivy’s hospital room in tonight’s episode.

The vet – who is played by actress Zoe Henry in the ITV soap – is the biological mother of Ivy after ex Gus stole her identity so he could use their old fertilized eggs with his new wife.

When Rhona discovered what they had done she confronted Gus and his wife, the stress of which pushed his new wife into early labour and she died.

Now Rhona feels like Ivy is her own child and tonight she broke into the hospital room where she is being cared for.

She narrowly avoided being arrested when her mum Mary caught her and got her out, but by the time she was home she had missed son Leo’s school performance.

And husband Marlon was not impressed to find out the truth.

“Our son is sitting upstairs with a broken heart because you chose another child over him,” he told her.

Rhona hit back: “Do you really think I have a choice in any of this? I am doing the best that I can with the hand that I’ve been dealt. I’m trying, Marlon.”

Marlon told her: “You want to do right by Ivy, I get that, I do. But she’s not yours. She’s not. And if you continue to act like she is, this is not going to end well. I’m going to check on the kids.”

Mary then told her: “You’ve got to let this go, Rhona. Let Ivy go. I didn’t realise the impact this would have on your family.

“What about Marlon? What about the kids? Aren’t you worried about how this will affect them.”

But Rhona hit back insisting she wouldn’t abandon Ivy regardless of the consequences and fans are predicting chaos.

Another begged: “Rhona you need to tell Marlon you’re worried or it will get out of hand.”
