Emmerdale family shattered as key character heads towards š••eath in new spoiler video

Will Nicky pull through, or will the Miligan family be torn apart forever?

An Emmerdale family is left shattered in a new spoiler video as their loved one fights for his life.

Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) has been left seriously injured after a terrifying car crash in recent scenes, which saw Ethan Anderson (Emile John) leave him for dead at the side of the road.

In the new spoiler video, parents Caleb (William Ash) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly) wait anxiously at Nickyā€™s bedside, and it is clear that the atmosphere between them is tense.

When Caleb suggests going to get food from the canteen, Ruby canā€™t believe that he is prepared to leave at such a crucial time, though Caleb insists that they need to eat.

Ruby refuses to respond, so instead Caleb turns his attention to the nurse, who assures him that Nicky is stable.

However,Ā Ruby doesnā€™t take the news well, snapping that she doesnā€™t want to be fed false hope, and her reaction further exacerbates the tension between her and Caleb.

When Caleb apologises for Rubyā€™s snappiness, she instantly retorts, insisting that she isnā€™t ā€˜tiredā€™, as he claims, but angry that someone could leave their son fighting for his life in hospital.

As Ruby warns Caleb not to apologise for her, he points out that the hospital staff are only trying to help, and taking her anger out on themĀ wonā€™t help Nicky.

Ruby promises to talk to the nurse, but Caleb urges her to go home and get some rest, pointing out that she wonā€™t be any use to Nicky if her temper gets her thrown out.

Reluctantly, Ruby agrees, but issues a stark warning to Caleb not to leave Nicky on his own.
