On Thursday, December 21, Emmerdale viewers saw Dawn go into labor and give birth to a boy in the birthing pool.

Before giving birth, Dawn began having contractions while she was watching Clemmie perform in the carol concert.

Fans of Emmerdale have now identified a serious problem with Dawn’s birth scenes and have shared it on social media.

Emmerdale: Dawn gave birth to a baby boy

Last night, as Clemmie got ready to sing her solo performance of “Santa Tell Me” at the carol concert, the village fair got underway.

Clemmie was having a little stage fright, so Bear offered to do a duet of the song.

Dawn proudly observed, but she soon started having contractions as she entered labor.

In the end, Aaron had to time Dawn’s contractions so that he could always squeeze her hand.

When Billy finally showed up, he drove Dawn home to give birth in the birthing pool.

After that, she welcomed their new son into the family by naming her baby boy Evan after Billy’s father.

Emmerdale fans spot huge blunder in Dawn birth scenes

Fans of Emmerdale have now pointed out a mistake in Dawn’s birth scenes as little Evan was brought into the world.

Dawn was given the baby to hold as soon as the midwife delivered him. The infant did not have an umbilical cord, though.

“The fastest birth I’ve ever seen by Dawn—I almost heard the ‘pop,’ and there was no umbilical cord either. It seems the NHS is now phasing them out,” a fan commented.

“A baby born with NO umbilical cord… only in Emmerdale!!!” yelled someone else.

A third chuckled, saying, “Come on, Emmerdale. It is absurd for a baby to be born without an umbilical cord.

Will things stay positive for Billy and Dawn?

There’s always drama at Home Farm, and Billy and Aaron’s recent spat just makes it worse. Not to mention that Kim is still hiding information about Craig’s passing from Dawn and Billy.

Can Dawn and Billy raise Evan in a drama-free environment, though? Will their happiness last for everyone?
