Emmerdale ‘confirms’ who catches 𝕜iller Amit Sharma out – and it’s not Eric Pollard

Killer Amit Sharma (Anil Goutam) has been up to no good in recent Emmerdale scenes, attempting to con Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) out of a significant amount of money.

Keen to get his hands on Eric’s fortune, Amit invited him to join him in a new ‘business opportunity’.

Suspicious, Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower) warned Eric to be careful, and after doing some research of his own into Amit’s proposal, Eric realised that he wasn’t being truthful.

Certain that Amit was attempting to scam Eric, he and Rodney teamed up and decided to use their criminal expertise to find evidence against him to take to the police.

Eric and Rodney are onto Amit – but they’re not the only ones

After wracking their brains to recap how they had got away with every ‘transgression’ they’d committed themselves, Eric and Rodney were still none the wiser over how to take Amit down.

When Rodney suggested Eric tell Amit he had changed his mind about going into business and use the distraction to swipe his phone, an earwigging Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) interrupted.

He pointed out that their plans would be sure to get them into a lot of trouble, before revealing that his own expertise may come in handy in their endeavour.

As Eric explained their plan to go after Amit, Vinny warned them to steer clear, as it wasn’t worth risking things over someone like Amit.

However, he had soon changed his tune after nipping to the shop and running into Amit, who was quizzing Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) on Eric’s plans for their business.

When Jacob revealed that Eric had changed his mind about investing, Amit was horrified, and rushed off, flustered.

This sparked Vinny’s suspicions, and soon he had returned to Eric and Rodney and promised to help them.

Will they be able to catch Amit out and get to the bottom of his criminal dealings? Or could they be set to discover something much darker about the killer?
