Charity shot and killed Harry over Christmas after he kidnapped and tortured Mackenzie – and sheâs been struggling to cope.
In tonightâs episode Moira realised just how hard Charity was finding things she forced her way into her house to make sure she was OK.
Charity tried to force Moira to leave but ended up breaking down as Moira told her: âYouâre exhausted Charity. Youâre not a killer. If it wasnât in anger, then youâre not a killer.â
She snapped back: âWhat would you know?â
Moira broke and confessed her own dark secret: âEverything. Because I did do it in anger. I am a killer. What I did was much worse.â
The farmer added: âYou donât need to know who. It tore me to pieces but Iâm still here. Thatâs all Iâm trying to say to you Charity.
âCain saved me. I hadnât slept for weeks. Mine wasnât a gunshot, mine was a push. And it played in my mind on a loop until I didnât know what was happening anymore.
âSo I drank until there was peace. And then when that didnât work anymore I bought some pills and I was about to take them before Cain came in and stopped me. I told him.
âAdam took the blame. I killed Emma Barton and I meant it.â
A shocked Charity said: âI thought you were going to tell me about something when you were younger. You pushed her so why did Adam go on the run?â
Moira told him: âHe was already a prime suspect. I confessed to the police, I told them everything but they thought I was just a mum trying to protect her son.
âAnd Adam didnât want Isaac to grow up without his mum so he protected me.â
Moira explained how Emma had goaded her into pushing her by insulting her kids adding: âWhen she was falling, she smiled. She actually smiled at me because she knew I was going to suffer.â
But will Charity be able to keep Moiraâs secret or will Moira have made a huge mistake?
