EastEnders spoilers: Zack Hudson takes drastic and life-changing action to save relationship with Whitney Dean

Lauren left Zack questioning his choice

Zack Hudson’s (James Farrar) relationship with Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is teetering on a knife edge in EastEnders at the moment, following their eventful trip to Milton Keynes.

When Whitney announced that she wanted to foster troubled teen Britney Wainwright (Lola Campbell) it caused a huge rift between her and Zack, who admitted that he didn’t want to foster anymore.

Their argument resulted in Zack heading back to Walford alone, before getting drunk and making a pass at Whitney’s best friend Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).

In more recent episodes, Zack was full of remorse, and after a chat with friend and boss Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) he decided to head back to Milton Keynes to tell Whitney everything.

However, he was soon stopped by Lauren, who warned him not to hurt Whitney over a stupid, drunken mistake.

The pair then shared a heart to heart, where Zack opened up about how much Whitney and the baby meant to him, and how he would even go as far as agreeing to foster Britney if it meant saving their relationship.

Lauren wasn’t sure that was the wisest move, pointing out the Britney deserved better than someone taking her on just because they felt like they had to.

She went on to point out that it seemed as though Whitney and Zack wanted different things, and encouraged him to think long and hard about his choice before rushing into anything.

As she asked if this was all going to end in tears, Zack seemed torn about the decision.

Will he go through with his plan to agree to foster Britney, or will Lauren’s advice put him on a different path?
