EastEnders spoilers: Suki Panesar makes moving request of her family – and it’s good news

With the plan in place, will everything be smooth sailing as Suki and Eve embark on the next stage of their journey?

Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was left in high spirits when her family responded well to a moving request in recent EastEnders scenes.

Things between Suki and girlfriend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) had hit a rocky patch when Suki moved out of the Slater’s house following a row with Stacey (Lacey Turner), though Suki was keen to get things back on track.

After some encouragement from son Vinny (Shiv Jalota), Suki had a frank conversation with Eve where she explained her reasons for leaving and asked her to move into the Panesar family home.

However, she was left gutted when Eve didn’t immediately agree to the offer, instead suggesting they should talk about it later.

Suki was thrilled by her family’s reaction

Thankfully, it didn’t take Eve long to tell Suki that she did want to move in with her, meaning that the only issue now was trying to persuade the rest of the family.

The couple headed to the Queen Vic to pop the question, with Eve suggesting that they could just sneak her stuff in the following day when everyone else was hungover.

Eve also made a jibe about how Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) would feel about her moving in, given that he had helped Nish (Navin Chowdhry) try to get rid of her just before Christmas during a dramatic showdown.

Though Suki assured her that Ravi wasn’t anything to worry about, it was clear she was nervous about the rest of the family’s reactions as she gave a speech about how it was their house too, and she didn’t want to dictate to them like Nish had done before.

Fortunately, it all went well, and the family were completely receptive to the idea of Eve joining the ranks.

Vinny was quick to point out that Eve moving in was inevitable, while Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) made it clear that she was an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.

With the plan in place, will everything be smooth sailing as Suki and Eve embark on the next stage of their journey?
