EastEnders spoilers: Shocking scenes as injured Linda Carter goes ballistic over Keanu Taylor’s body

Linda is not coping well in the aftermath of Keanu’s mur𝕕er

Poor Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has not been coping well since murdering Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day, and things are set to get even worse in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Linda has well and truly fallen off the wagon in recent weeks, and soon son Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) is left to try and pick up the pieces, as he tries to work out what has caused Linda to get into this state.

While Linda’s family inform Johnny that Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) being back on the scene is the cause of Linda’s drinking, viewers will know that there is much more to it that Linda is unable to reveal.

Linda’s drinking got much worse following the events of Christmas Day, which saw her stab Keanu in defence of Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), before helping to bury his body beneath the cafe.

It is no surprise then, when a trip to the café ends in absolute disaster for the pub landlady.

Having warned Dean to stay away from Linda with a punch, Johnny wants to find a way to get rid of him for good.

Unfortunately, when he approaches Callum Highway (Tony Clay) about launching a civil case, Callum has no choice but to tell him about the false confession from Linda that Dean secretly recorded.

Determined to send Dean packing, Johnny teams up with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), and the pair plan to work together to wipe the recording from Dean’s phone.

However, when Linda spots Dean and Gina heading into the café, she forces herself to follow, despite her horror at being so close to the body.

With Dean having rumbled the plan, an argument ensues between him and Johnny, and when Linda gets caught in the crossfire, she ends up cutting her hand on a smashed glass.

Johnny is left horrified as Linda goes completely ballistic, shocking everyone.

‘He is completely flummoxed,’ actor Charlie Suff revealed. ‘He doesn’t understand what is going on at all.

‘Linda hasn’t given him any specifics as to what is really going on with her. Johnny keeps thinking he’s understood the situation and why she’s drinking and so upset, but then something else happens that changes things.

‘He keeps landing back to square one but this is a moment that is a real shock to him, and Johnny realises something deeper is going on.’

As Linda loses it, is she set to finally crack, or will Johnny work out the truth?
