EastEnders spoilers: Ravi and Nish arrested for Eve’s ‘mur∂er’ in dramatic twist

Could Ravi and Nish go down for mur∂er?

Evil Nish Panesar (Navin Chowhdry) and son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) are set to be hauled off to the police station for questioning over Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) ‘murder’ in EastEnders.

With Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) determined to find out what happened to Eve, Nish and Ravi will come under grave suspicion – even though Eve is actually still alive.

After seeing footage of his wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) passionately kissing Eve on CCTV from the the Minute Mart, killer Nish trashed the shop and ended up confronting Eve, who told him everything about their affair.

Eve and Suki were on the verge of running away together.

But given that controlling Nish has already served a 20-year prison stretch for murdering a man he thought was having an affair with Suki, this was always going to end badly.

Raging Nish whacked Eve around the head with a bottle, and called a horrified Ravi, who’d previously tried to talk his father out of attacking her.

Having checked Eve’s body, Ravi said she was still alive – so Nish demanded that he finish the job and get rid of her.

But after taking Eve to remote woodland, and digging a grave, he opened the boot of the car to find Eve very much awake and alive.

Fearful of what his father would do if he didn’t kill her, Ravi tried to go through with the sick plan, but Eve talked sense into him.

Eventually he agreed to let her go if she disappeared and never contacted Suki again.

‘Ravi’s at a point where his conscience is taking over,’ says Aaron. ‘He’s wanting be to be his own man, but he’s got caught up in this horrible situation, with his dad pulling him into it.

‘He’s thinking about who he wants to be as a person, in comparison to his impulsive behaviour in the past – and he’s wanting to keep it all under wraps from Nish as well as Suki.

‘He believes he can wipe the slate clean.’

Having told Nish that he’d killed Eve and covered his tracks, Ravi thought that was the end of it – and sick Nish went on to sexually assault Suki, after demanding she said ‘I love you’.

But could Nish’s time be up, now that police are going to arrest the pair?

Will Ravi come clean about letting Eve go? Or will he fear his father too much to tell the truth?

Does this mean Ravi could be the mysterious man found dead on the floor of the Queen Vic on Christmas Day? All we know is that the dead man is wearing Nish’s infamous cufflinks – which have been passed around a whole heap of people, including Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), Jack and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

‘I think there is every possibility of it,’ says Aaron.
