EastEnders spoilers: Panic for The Six as Nish Panesar remembers the fateful night and vows to call the police
Crisis talks are the only type of conversation The Six seem to have these days
The Six are still on edge after their plan to hide the murder of Keanu Taylor hit several stumbling blocks in recent EastEnders scenes, and things are only going to get worse for the Walford matriarchs.
Denise Fox (Diane Parish) very nearly put them all at risk by attempting to dig up Keanu’s body once more, after realising that her iconic necklace was buried with him.
Thankfully, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) managed to put a stop to it, but the women remain rattled by the possibility of being caught out – especially now that there is very clear evidence pointing to one of them being the culprit.
Despite their terror at being discovered, the women love to chat about their crime in public places, which is bound to get them in trouble at some point.
Crisis talks are the only type of conversation The Six seem to have these days
Unfortunately, that point may come sooner rather than later, when Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) overhears a clandestine conversation between Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) about the café.
The women were previously left terrified when Nish woke up from his coma, having been hit over the head by Denise moments before the fateful murder on Christmas night.
However, they were put at ease when Suki confirmed that he couldn’t remember anything, and was prepared to believe their made-up story that Keanu had been the one to attack him before doing a runner.
Unfortunately, Suki and Linda’s conversation sparks something in Nish, and after spending the day probing, he gleans enough information from Linda and Denise to realise that they must be hiding something.
Resolved to get to the bottom of it, Nish reveals to Suki that his memory is returning, sending her blood running cold.
Things only get worse as he gives her an ultimatum – sign all of their businesses over to him or he will call the police.
This new development sends panic rippling through The Six, and soon they are meeting once again for another crisis talk, where the decision of how to handle Nish is the main topic of conversation.
Ultimately, it is agreed that Suki should agree to his demands for the sake of the group, but will this be enough to stop Nish?
According to actor Navin Chowdhry, Nish is prepared to go to great lengths to find out what the women are hiding.
‘I think his mission in life at this stage is to find out exactly what happened. For two reasons, he wants to seek retribution and revenge for what happened to him, but also it’s the lack of control and the power others have over him with them knowing something that he doesn’t, which aggravates him.
‘So his whole point of existence at this stage is to find out exactly what happened.’
