EastEnders spoilers: Linda Carter left devastated by new Mick and Janine development
Linda believes that this is karma for šilling Keanu
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been struggling to hold it together in EastEnders, and things only got more difficult when she received a huge update about Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks).
After killing Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) last Christmas in defence of best friend Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Linda has been struggling, relying more and more on alcohol to get her through the day.
In recent scenes, she became even more distressed when Ricky Butcher sent her a photo of Mick and Janineās baby, revealing to Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) how upset she was that he was being brought up in Germany, and not around his brothers and sisters.
Devastated, Linda made her excuses and rushed off to The Albert to drown her sorrows, though she wasnāt there for long.
Linda believes that this is karma for killing Keanu
It didnāt take long for barman Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) to throw her out for being too drunk, but luckily best friend Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) was there to take her home.
Back at Alfieās flat, Linda was inconsolable as she lamented that Mickās baby was the last part of him she had left, and nowĀ she felt as though she was grieving him all over again.
Though Alfie tried to assure her that everything would work itself out, Linda argued that the baby being miles away was karma for what she did at Christmas, leaving Alfie totally confused.
Lindaās actions on Christmas Day have beenĀ kept top secret by her and the rest of The Six, though the guilt of covering up a murder has slowly been getting to all of them, with Linda seemingly being the first to crack.
Poor Linda continued to drink, and though Alfie tried his best to stop her, she revealed that she was determined to drink herself to death over āwhat she did to him at Christmasā.
Concerned Alfie soon sought advice from Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), who was horrified by how much Linda had let slip.
Will they tell Alfie the full story, or manage to cover Lindaās tracks?
