EastEnders spoilers: Linda Carter is sickened as she discovers Gina Knight is dating rđť•’pist Dean Wicks
Linda’s stresses increase
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and the Knight family are horrified in EastEnders soon as they learn Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) is dating rapist Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo).
When Dean first returned to Walford, he was trying to slot back into the community as a businessman and chose to tell people that he never attacked Linda, believing it would increase his chance of building up a good reputation.
As Linda grew frustrated that Dean wasn’t telling the truth after all this time, matters were made worse when Gina admitted she believes him over her soon-to-be stepsister.
With Dean aware Gina’s feelings for him are developing, upcoming episodes will see him put forward the idea of going public with their relationship.
Linda’s stresses increase
Despite Gina admitting she doesn’t want to yet, fearing her family’s reaction, Dean attempts to manipulate her – but his efforts aren’t enough.
After a chat with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), where he advises his business partner to prove he’s in the relationship for the long haul (without actually knowing who he’s dating), Dean decides a grand gesture is the way forward.
With a bunch of flowers in hand, Dean heads into the pub and declares his love for Gina, leaving the Knights and Linda sickened.
Later in the week, Gina bites back and tells her family she doesn’t need their approval and storms out.
Meanwhile, after Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) learns about her daughter’s new boyfriend, she heads to see Dean and makes him an offer.
She tells him that he’s got until the end of the day to make a decision but to create even more trouble, Dean decides to tell Gina about Cindy’s plan.
That evening, Dean and Gina spend time together at his place, but things take a dark turn when Gina sees Dean’s true colours.
But is this the moment Gina protects herself and ends the relationship?
Or will Dean manipulate her even further?
