EastEnders spoilers: Kat Slater turns 𝕜iller Nish Panesar down – but sinister scenes follow

Kat turned down Nish’s offer ahead of some sinister scenes

Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) allowed sinister killer Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) to help her in recent EastEnders scenes, despite stark warnings from countless Albert Square inhabitants, though one offer soon proved to be a step too far.

After learning about husband Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) one night stand with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit), Kat and her boys moved out of the home they shared and into the cramped Slater house.

With 13 people living in a five bedroom house, Kat soon realised that there wasn’t enough room for them to stay there long term, despite cousin Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) insistence that she could stay as long as she liked.

Fortunately for Kat, a conversation with Nish led him to offer her a flat to stay in, rent free to begin with.

Kat was quick to consider the offer, and despite warnings from Phil, Stacey, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) that Nish was not someone to get involved with, Kat accepted.

It wasn’t long before the pair were sat in Nish’s kitchen, discussing their inevitable divorces and considering the best ways to get revenge on their partners – though they weren’t alone for long.

Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) wasted no time in teasing the duo about what they were getting up to, and her insinuation that Nish fancied Kat continued long after she had left.

Though Nish insisted they were just friends, Priya encouraged him to pursue a date with her, pointing out that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was never going to come back to him.

Nish argued that it was too soon, but Priya insisted that he invite her to dinner as he had nothing to lose.

Eventually, he gave in, and phoned Kat, but things didn’t exactly go to plan.

She was quick to turn down his offer of a date, revealing that it was too soon for her to move on.

However, this may not be the end of the story for Kat and Nish, as upcoming scenes will see Kat change her mind and agree to go to dinner with her new landlord.

Though things start off well, they are soon interrupted by a raging Phil, and his jibes to Kat cut so deep that she rushes out, closely flanked by Nish.

Elsewhere, the relationship between Nish and Suki is still tense, as she remains determined to get a divorce.

However, when Nish invites the Giani from their temple to mediate the divorce talks, knowing that it will humiliate her, the battle lines are firmly drawn between them.

With Suki hiding the dark secret of Keanu Taylor’s murder, she is prepared to do anything to keep Nish at arm’s length. Unfortunately, he soon grows suspicious and later admits that his memory is returning.

In a bid to get exactly what he wants, he threatens to call the police unless Suki hands over all of her businesses to him. Desperate to keep their secret, The Six urge her to agree to their demands – but will she go through with it?
