EastEnders spoilers: Amy ‘set to discover Keanu’s mur𝕕er truth’ as Denise’s hallucination rattles her
Denise has had a worrying few weeks
Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) concerns for step-mum Denise Fox (Diane Parish) grow in EastEnders next week as a beautiful gesture leads to more horrifying hallucinations.
Viewers have seen Denise on a worrying spiral of self-destruction since her attack on Nish Panesar (Navan Chowdhry) and assistance in the concealment of murdered Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) body on Christmas Day.
Within days, Denise and her five accomplices; Linda (Kellie Bright), Stacey (Lacey Turner), Suki (Balvindar Sopal), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and Sharon (Letitia Dean) realised they were going to have to properly dispose of Keanu’s body, and during a heated spat when Linda started hyperventilating, Stacey shoved Denise into the hole where they’d left Keanu’s rotting corpse.
Terrified Denise screamed for the women to help her out, and it was later decided to mix their own cement and fill the gap.
Denise has had a worrying few weeks
Traumatised from the days events, Denise arrived home to civil partner Jack (Scott Maslen) who instantly realised that her iconic silver ‘D’ necklace was missing – she’d lost it when she fell on top of Keanu.
The next day, she hopelessly tried to retrieve the necklace by digging at the cement, which had already set, forcing her to admit defeat. Kathy threatened that if she was to disturb the body again, and run the risk of them being caught, she would frame Denise for the ordeal.
Ever since Denise has been tormented by the thought of her necklace being discovered, being reminded of it in pictures and hallucinating herself wearing it whenever she looks into the mirror. Last week she even saw a vision of dead Keanu hiding in the net curtains.
In upcoming scenes on the BBC soap, we’ll see Amy Mitchell fear that she is going to lose another mother-figure from her life, and urges her dad to buy a thoughtful Valentine’s present for her.
Hiding the present away with brother Ricky (Frankie Day) to avoid Denise finding it, the siblings are rattled when she stumbles across it and begins acting strangely, thinking that she is once again experiencing delirium of the ‘D’ necklace.
Ricky urges Amy to speak up to their dad about what they’ve witnessed, but she is adamant to keep schtum, worried a divorce could be on the cards.
Later in the week, Amy turns to Stacey asking for advice with a school project about bipolar disorder – but will she realise the real reason for Amy’s interest, and will Denise eventually crack under the pressure of her horrifying hallucinations?
