EastEnders shock as police arrest suspect for Keanu Taylor’s 𝕞urder
POLICE have got the wrong person - but will they work it out?
EASTENDERS has delivered a shock tonight as police arrested a suspect for Keanu Taylor’s murder.
The mechanic – who was played by actor Danny Walters in the BBC soap – was killed at Christmas by Linda Carter to stop him from murdering Sharon Watts and kidnapping her son Albie.
Viewers know the two women along with Kathy Beale, Stacey Slater, Denise Fox and Suki Panesar, all conspired to cover up the crime and hide the body in the cafe’s floor.
But this week the concrete cracked and the smell of Keanu’s decomposing body leaked out, leading to the discovery of it.
In tonight’s episode The Six agreed to stick to their stories and prepared themselves for the police revealing the news.
And when they called at Sharon’s to tell her the body was Keanu’s, she put on a good performance of a grieving would-be widow.
In order to keep up the act she had to go and see Keanu’s sister Bernie to comfort her.
But in a shock move, she used the girl’s grief to manipulate her into not telling her mum Karen about his death just yet.
Using her own son Denny’s death, she told Bernie that not telling Karen was the right thing to do.
However when Bernie was with Felix, she kept listening to the last voicemail Keanu left where he was planning to leave Albert Square – and she realised it was important and shared it with the police.
That led them back to Sharon and they arrested her in the street.
But as Sharon screamed that she was innocent to Bernie, she got a shock back.
Bernie told her: “My mum was right, weren’t she? You killed him. You’re going to pay for what you did.”
