EastEndersâ Sharon Watts hit by shock bombshell about đead Keanu Taylor
Linda attempts to tell Sharon the big news but is beaten to it by another Walford resident
EASTENDERS’ Sharon Watts will be hit by a shock bombshell about dead Keanu Taylor.
The character – played by Letitia Dean – had her life turned upside down on Christmas Day when Keanu found out he wasn’t her son Albie’s dad.
The angry groom later lashed out at Sharon, strangling her in the Vic before Linda Carter stabbed him to save her friend, leaving him dead on the floor.
The pair plus the four other members of ‘The Six’ then buried his body under the floor of the burned out cafe, but as expected in soapland, it was later discovered by Keanu’s distraught sister Bernie.
While Sharon was initially accused of his murder, the women managed to frame Dean Wicks for Keanu’s death and get her off the hook.
In upcoming EastEnders scenes, Linda is rocked when Bernie reveals that Keanuâs funeral is taking place on Thursday and asks to host the wake in The Vic, which Elaine accepts.
Linda heads upstairs to drink where she is interrupted by a concerned Johnny.
Linda lies to her son that sheâs going to find Sharon to reveal the news, but Bernie beats her to it and tells Sharon in The Vic, just as Phil asks for more access to Albie.
Sharon is shocked to learn from Johnny that Linda knew, but the pair are interrupted by a clash in the barrel store where they find Linda intoxicated.
Johnny and Sharon take desperate measures to sober Linda up, before Sharon has a heart-to-heart with Kathy at No.43.
Adamant she must help her friend, Sharon books Linda into an AA meeting and encourages her to go.
But Sharon pales when Linda decides to speak against her advice.
Later in the week, Linda is busy preparing for Keanuâs funeral but itâs clear sheâs not coping.
Linda offers to help Sharon tell Albie about Keanu, but Sharon covers and insists she can do it alone.
Sharon wavers, but finally tells Albie about Keanuâs death following some words of advice from Martin.
In another moment, Sharon is touched by a gesture from Ollie, and makes a decision to attend Keanuâs funeral the next day for her sonâŚ
But will her decision come back to haunt her?
